Good location, nice restaurant with good selection on menu

This was the venue for our wedding day and it was absolutely brilliant all the staff were lovely and very attentive couldn’t fault them the hotel is modern with a touch of old world and very elegant couldn’t of imagined our special day anywhere else!!!

Me and my wife chose to get married here after going to my sister’s wedding here a few years earlier and we were impressed. We are so happy to say that we made the right choice. Choosing Moor Hall as our wedding venue was the best thing we could have done. They were very easy going the entire time. Anything we wanted to happen, they made it happen. They were very open with bringing outside entertainment and did everything possible to help make our dream wedding come true. Originally Charlotte sold us the wedding package but we were soon passed on to Tom & Claire and without them the day would not have been as amazing as it was. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had throughout the process and they were one of the main reasons the day was so good. The passion everyone at Moor Hall had at our wedding was outstanding. Everyone from the wedding coordinators to the bar staff treated our day with so much respect you’d think it was their own wedding! The whole day went without a problem and if we were to do our wedding all over again we would choose Moor Hall every time. I have no complaints with anything. The only thing I would change about the day would be the DJ company on the evening which was Moor Hall recommended. We were already worried about our first dance, so to be over a minute into it and having the song replay by the DJ was a clumsy but forgivable mistake. They also ordered drinks and added it to our bill (which is fine I would have just liked to have been asked) and they also brought their child to a wedding reception which specifically said no children (again, this is fine, but I would have appreciated being asked beforehand) Other than that they did a fantastic job throughout the night playing guests requests and kept the party alive throughout the evening. They also provided dry ice & sparklers for our first dance which will make for some incredible photos and videos when we receive them. We chose to have a burger buffet in the day as oppose to a sit down meal and all the food was excellent. We had pizza and chicken on the evening for guests and some say it was the best food they had in their life. Moor Hall did not let us down in any department. Huge shout out to Tom and Claire. They gave us the best day possible and it’s all thanks to them. Special thanks to Charlotte who booked our wedding originally and got the whole thing started. Thanks to Luke who helped with the wedding on the evening and to the young lady who was there throughout the day (I’m so sorry i forgot her name) but she did an excellent job organising everyone throughout the day

Lovely looking building with a lot of character. Check in was smooth with great staff. Our first room was a standard room and we were happy enough with it knowing you get what you pay for, but unfortunately my bed had a huge dip in the middle. I would usually live with this but I am awaiting spinal surgery so really couldn’t sleep another night with it so we asked to move or replace mattress. (Also the room was so hot, view was literally a brick wall and there was a loud unit of something mechanical outside) staff were great and upgraded us to a better room with decent beds although all the doors looked beaten up. It had an adjoining door to the next room and our neighbours were very noisy shouty people but the room was so much nicer so we stayed put. Breakfast staff were excellent, breakfast was reasonable . We had dinner in the oak room on the first night nice vibe but the food was not good at all. White wine was served warm but staff kindly sorted it quickly when we asked. Unfortunately the food was very poor, we both had the waygu burger which was cold, tough and dry. Pretty dire for £19. We didn’t really feel like we could say anything else after the wine and the room so ate as much as we could and didn’t use the restaurant on the second night. Would not recommend. The spa was busy and small and needed a refurb. You couldn’t get a seat and it seemed a bit grubby. Staff were all lovely though.

this was such a lovely trip. booked the dining pod outside and was served by Nell- she made it so special and romantic. really nice food and atmosphere. amazing time and experience, loved celebrating here. we definitely recommend to all couples!! xx

We attended a wedding on Saturday 19th October. Everything about it was wonderful. We stayed the Friday before too, all fabulous except the food menu, my husband had the burger which wasn't great for almost £20, very basic and dry. It's so odd as the wedding breakfast was beautiful. Just a shame the food menu in the bar wasn't as good.

My husband and I were given a voucher for afternoon tea at Moor Hall Hotel. What a lovely afternoon it was. Delicious sandwiches, quiche, cakes and scones. Amy looked after us incredibly well whilst being attentive but not intrusive. We had a thoroughly lovely time. Thank you.

Moore Hall Hotel & Spa My Girlfriend and I stayed for two nights at this Hotel, and we had a fantastic stay. We purchased the ‘Autumn Escape Package’ which included: Complimentary £30 each towards the cost of the evening meal, breakfast per person, and two bottles of Prosecco. We stayed in the ‘Superior’ suite which was bright, spacious, warm and clean with a nice view of the ‘Gardens’. Included with the room: complimentary condiments, a kettle, Iron & ironing board, an easy to use safety box, and bathroom essentials and not forgetting the all important Television. The bathroom looked slightly dated with vintage-style tiles, but it was spacious & bright, mould-free, underfloor heating making it feel very comfortable. The grounds to the hotel comprised of a wide wooded/garden area, and Golf Course. All the hotel staff we came into contact with were nice, friendly and helpful, we were particularly impressed with the staff in the Dinning room: Jake, Amy and Owen whom were welcoming, very attentive and genuinely nice to us, which added to our fantastic three course meal experience (big respect to the chefs). The breakfast area is small but nicely organized with its buffet area and seating, and as we expected the staff here were also friendly & welcoming. To cap a wonderful stay at the hotel we attended an entertaining evening with an ABBA tribute band, the entertainment took place in the Conference/events room which was big enough to host weddings, etc.

We have stayed here several times. Always a friendly welcome and comfortable room/ beds. Good choice of restaurants and selection of menus. Consistent efficient and friendly service and good value for money. We will be back again on our next visit to Birmingham
