During my recent trip to Tacoma, I checked into this property. Unfortunately, I had to check out 30 minutes later with Cathy at the front desk, as the room and property did not have the amenities I needed for my business trip. When I called the hotel to ask for a refund, the General Manager Jessica Christensen said that they do not have a record of me checking out, and because of that, they charged me for a 2-night stay. She said she is not able to issue a refund, but I know that is not true, as I stay in hotels for business about 100 nights a year. In the last decade, I have never had a hotel GM treat me with such disrespect. As a result, I do not plan to stay at any Choice Hotels moving forward for my business travel.
