Do use their mandarin name to locate as the gps tend to point you in the wrong direction. Happened to me… Location was very convenient, just minutes away from Ximen station exit 6 and ximending. Overall, an enjoyable experience staying there.

We stayed for four nights at Ximen Hotel in Ximending. While the location is excellent—right in the heart of the bustling district with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport—the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel building is old, and while our room was designated non-smoking, it had a lingering cigarette smell, which was unpleasant. The amenities were basic and average at best, and the price, though reasonable, did not compensate for the issues we encountered. One major concern was that my wife got bitten by bed bugs on our last night, which was extremely disappointing and concerning. Additionally, the soundproofing was poor—we could hear street noise and sounds from other rooms, making it difficult to relax. Overall, while the location is undeniably convenient, the lack of cleanliness, comfort, and adequate soundproofing means we would not book this hotel again.

Breakfast available only at Mo Burger, but you get the access to microwave and dining room. Small room. But in general for that price quite reasonable. The biggest advantage is location.

The location of Ximen Hotel is very strategic. Near the Ximen MRT station and near Ximending night market. Although the sheets were a bit worn out, it is still clean. The whole place is clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and attentive to other request. Will definitely recommend this to everyone who will visit Taipei!

The hotel’s located in a really nice area where there is the main bus line in front of it and about 10 mins walk to Taipei Main Station. It is also really close to Ximending Walking Street and night market, only 4-5 minutes walk. The staff is nice and welcoming. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast so in the common area in front of the front desk, there are only few instant noodle packages and some beverage for guests to purchase. They also helped me a lot when I asked if they have a microwave so I can warm up my food. They helped me right away and gave me the nicely warm food in about 10 minutes. So nice of them. The room is quite small imo and not really well furnished as I expected. There’s no closet in the room so they only have a rack hanging above the table which I find pretty weird but amusing to look at. The only thing I have a slight complaint about is the wifi signal. It’s pretty bad in my room (my room is the first room, in the corner). Also, my 5G doesn’t work well in my room even though it worked perfectly outside of the hotel. If you plan to stay a few nights in the center area and just need a room to sleep, I think this hotel is a good choice.

Excellent location just next to the night market and MRT Ximen. Clean rooms and good smell. I would reccommond the place definitely

location is very good near MRT Ximen and ximending night market My room has a window and is on the street. I went there during the summer so the room was a bit hot during the day. I had air conditioning, which helped a bit And I informed the receptionist that the air conditioning in the room was not cool. The receptionist asked the housekeeper to adjust the temperature but it was still not cool enough so the housekeeper brought a small fan very kind and cute

Location for this hotel was perfect and easy access to all MRT subway, food and shopping. Room was spacious and provide all amenities as needed. If you need transportation to or from airport they can make arrangements to pick you up or drop off.

The receptionists are helpful. The waiting area is spacious.

The room is quite good in my opinion. Convenient transportation. Nice and friendly staff. The room is carpeted so there is some dust.

All is ok, but not friendly front desk. , cleanliness and space is ok
