Best Western Plus Serene Atlantic Hotel

Brought my wife home to Tadi after years abroad and Best Western Atlantic Hotel gave us a great blend of International and Traditional Hospitality. The service and facilities are as world class as any other top rated hotels we’ve visited around the globe. The Food and Drinks really had a spell on my wife. She was in awe. The staff is so nice, professional and pristine. My best moment was when the Team at the Restaurant celebrated my Mother’s Birthday with a fun song and a delicious cake. Definitely worth the stay if you’re in Takoradi!

It was fun being there

The hotel is clearly an old hotel, which is not a bad thing, if only they had taken the maintenance cycles seriously. The hotel has good infrastructure, it is without a doubt the largest in Takoradi and has a view of the sea, although it does not have access to it, a private golf course separates them. The problem with this hotel is that it is obvious that they have not taken the proper maintenance seriously to preserve the facilities. I had the opportunity to check out all the available rooms, from the cheapest to the most expensive, and everything is the same: hallways in poor condition, unplastered walls, terribly dirty and stained carpets, dirty walls, and a terrible smell of humidity in absolutely all the rooms I visited (9 in total). The clearest point in favor of this hotel is its staff. They are incredibly good at their job and always very helpful. If they could move this staff to a hotel with better infrastructure, it would certainly be a great hotel. The hotel has a nice casino, an excellent and complete gym, and a spa that is without a doubt the most terrible I have ever visited in my life: dirty, terrible smell of humidity, and lamentable massage service.

Guess what, my recent stay at their hotel was awesome, from the vibrant tree lighting decorations to the serene atmosphere by the ocean view, every corner of this hotel whispers sophistication and charm. For anyone planning a trip to the Western Region, the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel is the destination where dreams meet reality. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience you’ll cherish forever.

We were upgraded to a suite because of a challenge with our reservation, which was a nice touch, especially considering the fact that the reception staff were quite unfriendly. The room was great - very clean and spacious. The food was very good and the restaurant staff great. Overall, a better standard than we had expected.

Definitely the best hotel in Takoradi, most probably in entire Ghana. Starting with housekeeping until the end of the day. Perfect lounge bar with fast service. Restaurant is very nice with different choices of food. Swimming pools are more than enough for relaxation. Enjoyed one week with pleasure.
