Kocierz Resort - Hotel

Clean, species room with very good breakfast was something we had the pleasure to enjoy for our 3 night stay at Kocierz & Spa. We enjoyed quiet pool side and hotel facility. The local produce available to purchase is a real bonus. The restaurant itself…. Food doesn’t seems to be authentic mountaineer and some of the combinations seems very odd. We enjoyed the local beer tough. The highlight is the kids’ area which keeps the little souls occupied while waiting for food. The SPA on another hand was something I struggled with. 3 months before I contacted hotel to book some of their treatments. I used messenger as there is no online booking facility and I do not have polish phone number. I was told to email SPA directly. Sent email, no answer. So, I contacted again and again with the reception in copy with the same result! Zero Answer. In the end when we arrived, I found out that my booking remains….as not confirmed! Who would know I need to confirm something which was never acknowledged in the first place! Long story short, the massage was good, but the Little Princess Manicure is something I would give a miss next time….my daughter was presented with selection of colours…pink, pink, pink or silver! What a great selection!!!! But as I said for the hotel facility this is something we will be more than happy to come back to and enjoy one more time.

What could have been an amazing review and great time in your hotel , it has turned into the worst. We are a foreign couple and booked our wedding here with great excitement but due to pandemic it could not go ahead, nobody fault. After miscommunication from the hotel where they hid our rights to cancel the wedding and get our deposit ,they really only offered a voucher we felt we were forced to accept so we could at least keep the money move it to a convenient day, but that was initially fine as we always had in mind to come back and celebrate when can do so properly, we were happy to wait. When we asked for extension of that date ,which was initially 6 months but we thought will be flexible depending on pandemic and availability (pandemic lasting 2 years really-globally) after those 6 months we were still on pandemic (end of 2020-21) , noting they were initially flexible and happy to keep the money due to the circumstances of course. But we then contact in advance the hotel and advise we cant still reorganised and travel so if we can decide on a later date moving that deposit, to our surprise we were SUDDENLY told is not possible to extend or chose other date anymore, without further advise so we use the money by August or we lose all. I understand they can not be flexible forever but we dont talk of a spa voucher/deposit, we talk of our wedding money that can not organsise abroad in 2 months really after world really start opening, regardless if hotel is operating, like many couples decided in waiting, we wanted our wedding with freedom no restrictions and with my full list of guests. Why they suddenly decided to close our deposit, I dont know, we only wanted an extended or new date never asked for more, and dont think it cost anything to the hotel as we were going to be returning guest! We live abroad and have several members from different countries, and family with some health conditions that could not travel or be there in our special day during pandemic (I will not risk it for them but want them there free and safe) Now pandemic has kind of "established" we are refused to keep/chose a date ,neither the money back. We feel betrayed and our money ripped by the hotel as firstly we were not informed of our options properly, but mostly we only consider fair to keep our money until new wedding date could be agreed, where we could celebrate freely and feeling safe, we could do our wedding and spend more money in the hotel and have a good time! we had all our intentions to go and use the money, but it seems suddenly keeping our deposit to a further date is costing a lot for the hotel??? it seems like it, I would not understand that. No really caring and flexible given the circumstances, for what meant to be a special day as a wedding in our situation it has turned and made us feel horrible, our excitement for wedding is just not there anymore.Very disappointed and feel cheated. Witam, pozwolę sobie na ocenę restauracji „Karczma Kocierz”. Na wstępie zaznaczam,że znam tą restauracje od lat i jestem zniesmaczona poziomem dna jaki aktualnie ona osiągnęła. Nasz wieczór (4osoby) we wspomnianej restauracji od samego wejścia zapowiadał się tragikomicznie. Na samym wstępie poziom obsługi nie pozostawiał złudzeń. Karczmowy team zapytany o wolny stolik z wielkim rozbawieniem oświadczył „jak sobie państwo znajdą coś wolnego to MOŻNA siadać”! Otrzymawszy takie pozwolenie ruszyliśmy na samotne poszukiwanie wolnych miejsc. Udało się! Szczęśliwy rozsiadliśmy się i kolejne 20 min podziwialiśmy jak inni goście pałaszują swoje posiłki. Nikt ale to absolutnie NIKT nie postanowił podejść z kartą dań, NIKT nie zaproponował ciepłego napoju. Tutaj zaznaczę,że na calej sali obecne były 3inne rodziny. Taka ilość gości dla profesjonalnego personelu powinna być błahostką jeśli chodzi o zapewnienie komfortu wizyty. Niestety nie w tej karczmie. Doczekawszy się kart, przyniesionych od kierowniczki zmiany która chciała rozładować sytuacje PROFESJONALNYM stwierdzeniem”że koledzy chyba mają coś lepszego do roboty”- czyt. śmieszkowanie we 4 przy ladzie baru, zamówiliśmy jedzenie! Pisząc to zadaje sobie pytanie czemu po prostu nie wyszliśmy(!?) co polecam każdem kto odwiedzi ten niezaprzeczalnie magiczny resort ale profesjonalnie dyskusyjną obsługę. Kolejne 30min poświęciliśmy na wyczekiwanie jedzenia. Oczywiście zdaje sobie sprawę, że jest to normalny czas potrzebny na podanie jakościowego jedzenia. Wielka szkoda,że kelnerzy nie chcieli zachować wspomnianej jakości ale zachowania. Kelner z rozbawieniem zapytał „Kto chciał koryto” (sic!). Podobnym niewybrednym komentarzem okrasił każdy inny posiłek. Same posiłki? Smaczne. Ale przyprawione atmosferą obrzydliwych żarów puszczanych w naszą stronę smakowały TAK SE! Pozwolę sobie na tak prymitywne podsumowanie może dotrze ono do osoby odpowiedzialnej za ten młodociany cyrk który aktualnie tam pracuje. Posiliwszy się śmieszkami pracowników i smacznym jedzeniem postanowiliśmy zapytać o rachunek. (Oczywiście jeśli ktoś chciałby sobie coś domowić np, napój to nie w Karczmie Kocierz, tutaj nikogo nie interesuje na co gość ma aktualnie ochotę) Zdobycie rachunku było o wiele trudniejsze od calej drogi jaką przeszliśmy do tego momentu z tym ordynarnym zespolem. Po 20min wymownych spojrzeń rzucanych przez cała naszą CZTEROOSOBOWĄ RODZINE, nota bene ostatnich gości obecnych na sali, zjawił się wysoki blond jegomość z pytaniem „Czy coś chcemy” zachowując resztki dobrego humory poprosiliśmy o rachunek i spakowanie pozostałego na stole jedzenia. Teraz dochodzimy do FINAŁU! Wyżej wymieniony blondyn nonszalancko przez śmiech rzucił”to ja WAM przyniosę plastiki i sobie możecie popakować, tak będzie najlepiej! TAK ROBI SIĘ WSZĘDZIE!” Największy szok wieczoru! Chciałam zwrócić uwagę na jego zachowanie kierowniczce zmiany ale uwaga! Sama KIEROWNICZKA ZMIANY przyniosła nam te PLASTIKI i poinstruowała aby „se to spakować”. N
