I don’t know who gave 5 stars to this hotel. When I walked in I was hit by a horrible stench from the bathroom that never went away. According to their website description they have tv in a common room, robes for guests and a picturesque view. None of those are correct. They don’t even have a common room 😂. Entry picture to the hotel is also not real on website. It’s just a giant metal gates which is fine but why display something else? Wifi never worked in my room. I had to seat outside, in the blazing heat in order to use wifi. I also had breakfast for two but they only accommodated for 1 person. When I told them that I had payed for 2 person breakfast they told me you should have asked for it. But it already said so on my booked it. Anyway, they only good thing in that hotel are the ladies that work there. They are absolutely lovely and thank to them my stay was a bit tolerable.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, well within walking distance of most of the best places in Tbilisi. The staff have been nothing short of accommodating since I arrived. There's free breakfast (8–10am) and access to tea and coffee, as well as a free laundry service. The room is clean and I suppose it is rather small, although that's a rather trivial downside (if at all) since you'll be spending most of your time outside anyway. It's also kept nice and warm inside in winter :) The walls are somewhat thin so sounds from the hallways can be quite audible which could potentially disturb others but it's not really that all rambunctious. Please note in case you are allergic to cats: there's a cat prowling the halls 🐱 I have enjoyed my stay here and will eagerly book it again when I revisit Tbilisi.

很難得聽不見車聲，位置不錯，背靠母親堡壘，出門不遠倆座教堂，早餐我非常喜歡，還有燉土豆，派也做的好吃，符合我北方人的口味。也難得這家店員熱情服務，基本上格魯吉亞很多服務人員都是一臉的官司模樣，説話很沖。早餐廳的風格有種古堡味道，也很像青旅和民宿，短住幾天可以👌

房間很乾凈，我定的是單人間，一個人住完全沒問題。冬天屋裡還有暖氣，很暖和。定的房間裏有提供早餐，一定要嘗一下當地阿姨做的那個格魯吉亞李子醬，超級好吃。旅館是幾個小姐姐在管理，接待我的小姐姐英文超好，不會當地語言去的話也不會有問題。

I stayed at the Hotel Mariam R for nine days. I booked the economy bedroom, which was perfect for me and my needs. The room had a private bathroom, which was small, but clean. The bedding and room was fresh and clean. The breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared by the ladies - delicious vegetable soups and blinis. This is not a buffet breakfast with numerous options, but the selections offered were freshly prepared and perfect to start your day. On the days I missed breakfast due to early morning tours, guests are allowed to use the kitchen to help themselves to coffee/make toast, etc., which was super helpful to start my day. Best of all, the hotel is located right in the heart of it all. Shardeni Street, the Peace Bridge, Median Bazaar, Rike Park are minutes away and Liberty Square/Metro is not even a ten minute walk.

Very pleasant stay in this small family hotel. Perfect location, close to everything you want to visit. Very clean room, good value for money. Good breakfast served in the kitchen where the lady in charge cooks everything in front of you. Staff very helpful. Thanks.

I booked through a third-party site (**********), which typically charges the balance upon booking. At checkout, I was told I had pre-paid and was free to go, which was exactly what I expected. However, several days after checking out, the hotel started hounding me by phone and email, insisting I hadn't paid and needed to return immediately to pay. Since I was traveling, I couldn't confirm what I had already paid, so I went back to the hotel to better understand the situation. The woman at the desk told me a sob story about how if I didn't pay, the balance would be taken out of her monthly wages, and showed me an indecipherable screen that "proved" I hadn't paid. I decided to trust her and allowed Mariam R to charge my card. Big mistake. When I returned to the US, I saw that they had double-charged me-- I had both pre-paid and was also charged after the fact. ********** contacted Mariam R, who denied wrongdoing. When I supplied the credit card statements with the double charges, the original booking confirmation, and the receipt as proof of the double charge, suddenly neither I nor ********** could get in touch with anyone at Mariam R. How convenient! Luckily my bank reversed the fraudulent charge. However BEWARE: they ran a boldfaced scam on me with no repercussion. Even if they hadn't stolen from me, this was a 2-star experience. The wifi didn't work, the breakfast was terrible, the room wasn't ready at the designated check-in time, the bathroom was dirty, etc.

There were loys of good things abouth this hotel with only a couple of downsides. Good 1. The staff (Anna and Tika (?)) were very helpful and friendly. 2. The location was perfect, in the heart of the Old Town just a few steps away formu from Meidan Square. 3. The room was very nice with a comfy bed and no problems with hot water. 4. There was free tea and coffe available at all times. Not so good 1. The breakfast was rather boring - the sane every day. A buffet arrangement would have been nicer rather than have it all plated up. 2. No lift and steep stairs. Not a problem for me but less fit people might have difficulties. 3. I stayed 4 nights and the room was not cleaned once nor were the towels changed.

Планируя остановиться на несколько дней в Тбилиси, мы выбрали этот отель. Бронировали два номера. Наш рейс прилетел в 4 часа утра, но не смотря на это, в отеле нас ждали - менеджер и местные котики. Нам предложили комнаты на выбор. Больше всего понравились комнаты на 3 этаже, они просторнее и светлее. Только учтите, лифта нет и на третий этаж ведет небольшая деревянная лестница. Вида из окна особо не ждите, все вокруг довольно плотно застроено. Отель находится в тихом переулке, но очень близко ко многим достопримечательностям и кафе. У ребят есть уютная уличная веранда, видимо летом там проходят завтраки. В комнатах не было холодильника, телевизора, чайника (если это важно для кого-то), но нам и не нужно было. Кстати, чай можно было попить в любое время на кухне. Кровати удобные, радовало наличие тапочек. Горячая вода есть, проблем не было. Было очень тепло в комнате и мы приоткрывали окно, иначе душно. Для уборки нужно повесить табличку с просьбой убраться. Завтраки: вкусно, по-домашнему, стол был накрыт к нашему приходу. Были оладьи, два салата, тосты, йогурты, сыр, варенья, сок, чай, кофе, яблоки, конфетки. Wifi хороший.
