Mount Austin @ Palazio | Ikea | Aeon + Wifi Johor

This is my 1st time ever writing feedbacks to the experiences in hotels, restaurants, or any entertainment centers. Firstly, I did not receive any confirmation from the host to our stay on 30th Jun, neither did they respond to my queries raised via trip.com. Giving the benefit of doubts, we decided to proceed to the location which end up being chased away since we were unable to provide the QR code for entry to the carpark & apartment. We had to detour and find a place to stop the car where I would then need to make a call to them (bearing in mind it was a roaming call). I was then told that they could not reach me and had been trying to reach my mobile since few days back. How is it possible? My mobile contact detail is everywhere and I did not believe that they could not reach me because I am constantly on my phone. Even so, they should have responded to my query via trip.com and that should be the focal point of contact since my booking is thru this website. After ending the call - the host sent me all the required details within less than 2minutes and we were then proceed to provide all required information to the security guard and make our way to the carpark. The carpark itself; like many of those reviews - was a total disaster. Totally crampy and squeezy, with risks that our car will be scratched / knocked on. The amenities starting from the lift to the apartment booked, was overly unpleasant too. I did not like the smell of the house the minute I entered the place. To make it worse, I noticed that the blankets were not folded neatly, with some stains and hair all over. Quickly unpacked and we left to proceed to a mall to meet our family. Upon returning at night, approximately 11pm; my son got freaked out because there was a running cockroach where my husband had to kill it with a slipper. Not wanting the kids to think about it, I quickly asked them to shower to end the day. But things did not end there. While showering, the boy again screamed so loudly, i was shocked and ran right into the bathroom only to notice the bathroom wall near to the basin were full of ants. It was totally grossed out. Again, since it was late at night and the fact that we were only staying for a night, I told the children to not think about it and sleep instead. Around 4am+ in the morning, we heard not one but a few times of loud banging sounds from the neighbors. I understood that they did not do it on purpose, it was merely the material of the main gate used by the building developer. It was too loud that I jumped up of bed. Additionally, the sound proof was terrible that people were just talking as per usual; but we can hear it very clearly from within the apartment. Overall, this is far way too unexpected from me and I will not recommend this place for anyone who are bringing children, as well as those who needs some peace and quiet holiday. We will not book this place if it is not because of the distance to our parents' house. Lastly, the image seen in the booking page is deceiving. It does not at all look that way.
