Hotel is under renovation on the 2nd floor. Health Department has closed the pool. Ice machines were down. I thought the room rate was high for a compromised facility. We did not partake of the complimentary breakfast. Just passing through...

The pictures here must be 20 years old. This property is BADLY in need of renovation. Everything is old. We had 3 rooms for family members and they were all shabby. The only bright spot was the staff. They did everything they could to make us welcome. I left my phone charger at home and one of the staff even lent me her phone charger rather than me buying a new one.

PROS: The staff at this Comfort Inn were helpful and the room was clean with adequate towels and TP for a three day stay. Very quiet except for the door slammers that are in every hotel! CONS: The room we had on the first floor was in need of paint. There were worn paint areas throughout the room and the sheer on the window was ripped from the top to the hem. The remote did not work properly and the tub drained very slowly.

Great location near restaurants. Clean, quiet motel. Had a 2 queen room which was spacious and in great condition. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast with lots of choices. Nice amenities. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Close to I70 exit.

Felt like a safe area, full hot breakfast with plenty of choices was good. Room felt tired & in need of a good cleaning/updating. Gap in the door so you could literally see in / out of the room. Bathtub stained & chipping. Musty smell in the room. Stains in the carpet. Did not seem like typical Comfort Suites quality. Okay for a one night stay.

Appeared nice and clean but.... mold growing in bath tub corners, air conditioner did not cool, WiFi would not work, pool area needed updated (rust, mold and stained chairs), FREEZING pool that two year had to get out of due to shivering lips. Beds were very comfy. This just was not the normal comfort suites stay that I was use to. We left our at 6:40am on a Saturday and breakfast was to open at 7am. Everything was done and we ran in and got two cups of juice and a bagel. A rude lady behind desk told the man behind desk “get that bfast door shut it’s not open and they gotta a bowl (had bagel in it)”. Upon check out I informed the both of them all the concerns with the hotel and they said that they were sorry for the u fortunate stay! Tons of hotels in Terre Haute so please pick a different one for your stay!

We checked in and tried to connect to wifi with the password provided. We kept getting the message "no internet connection" I called the front desk and the lady who checked us in said we are not going to be able to connect through Comfort Suites network and gave us a name of some special network, which had to be typed in manually. Still no luck. I had to take the lap top and the phone downstairs and front desk lady was able to connect the lap top, but could not connect the phone. All of this was very inconvenient and time consuming. Our room was clean overall, but there was a huge dried up mass by the couch and comforter had a couple of little stains. I reported that to the front desk lady and told her we just going to live with this for one night we were there, we just don't want to be charged for these damages, since they were not caused by us. The reason we were concerned is because in order to stay there, we had to swipe our card and got charged $125 up front. Lady said that if there are no damages in room, charges will fall off. Lady referred to me as hon instead of reputable place appropriate mam and didn't apologized when I pointed that out.

We stayed here on the way home from Spring Break. The room was very large, clean and quiet. The hot breakfast was good. The location was great- we were able to get food quickly after a long day. There are lots of restaurants, fast food and shopping near to this hotel. I am not 100% sure but the rooms seemed larger than most, which is great as we travel with 3 teen children. We also saw another large family checking in and that is always a good sign when we are traveling with our children. I would definitely stay here again.
