Tonbridge North

Having been here before the cut backs were notable. No biscuits in the room. No bath mat, no standard daily room cleaning. (There wasn't even a toilet brush in the bathroom). Cleaning, extra towels, bath mat extra needs to be requested from reception. BUT there was no phone in the room to contact reception. There was often no staff on reception and twice, when the bell on reception was rung, no-one turned up at the desk. The floor, in the bathroom (room 15) was very uneven and covered up with the floor covering. There was no plug socket, by the bed, for 1. charging phones that need to be used as an alarm or in an emergency. 2. For medical equipment e.g. CPAP machine. The light in the room, during the day was dull. The lighting at night was poor. No mirror by the dressing table and very poor lighting at the dressing table. Positives, it was clean and the staff were friendly.

Grubby hotel, poor WiFi very dated compared to others. Check in was very slow . Beefeater next door was ok, food ok service was pretty good. Needs upgrade and some money spending on the hotel . Fan was on in room maybe to cover the smell of mould, no WiFi even though there’s a controller in room

This hotel needs a full refurb, system was so slow to check in and add meal deals, beefeater closed due to no staff so couldn’t have breakfast or dinner the day after check in. Rooms were so hot and no air conditioning, fans provided but didn’t help. Most worrying was the smell of mould in the rooms

The reception took long to book us in but no problem, it was check-in time and the lovely lady was trying to deal with a queue of us. She was very pleasent and helpful. Got to the room and one of the main lights round the mirror didn't work and a light shade by the bed was broken and hanging off, the room and bathroom was very dated, needs a lot of TLC. No aircon even though theres a aircon unit on the wall so had to leave the window open, was bitten a lot but had been out earlier so can't blame the hotel. Not Premiers Inns fault but why do people think slaming doors & running up corridors at 2am is slightly acceptable.

Fair price. Fairly good room. Fair reception not always staffed. fair restaurant not open every evening.Fair walk 25 mins to Tonbridge castle/ shops. Altogether Premier. Shower over bath. Fairly warm as no air con. Though window opens.Fairly quiet a little traffic noise overnight with window open but slept ok.

Booked this hotel at the last minute so as we knew we were definitely going booked the cheapest option. Arrived and told the restaurant was closed with no food or drink on offer. After driving 5 hrs all we wanted to do was relax eat a few drinks and an early night to be fresh for the sightseeing day ahead...that wasn't to be...and even though the hotel couldn't supply what they advertised we still weren't allowed to change hotels to one that had food available.. Very disappointed with the premier inn service on this occasion... We should have been able to change due the the lack of food available...
