Jim Butler Inn & Suites

Spent one quiet, restful night at the Butler in Tonopah recently (May 2024) and was very comfortable. Nice bed, clean room, a bit dated but still very decent, especially for the price. We discovered we had left some clothing items in the room after leaving and a phone call from about 90 miles down the road to the motel resulted in the helpful staff (Heather) sending us our items by USPS. The package arrived shortly after we did back home in Oregon. Very nice!

Don’t do it! Bedbugs. Lots of them! I have bites all over me. When told about them they blamed it on housekeeping. Carpets were filthy. Feet got black from the shower to the beds. Never anyone in office.

The only good thing about this hotel was the lovely lady at the front desk. This is a very tired hotel with obvious deferred maintenance. The first room we were given had a toilet with toilet paper in it and it was plugged. We were never able to get the WIFI to work. We would not stay again.

Older well appointed motel. Very helpful staff.Good beds, plenty of linens Clean bathrooms,hot water all the time.Very friendly to my large service dog.Good stop after ghost town and desert ratting all day.all day.Good stop between Reno and .Vegas.Fair price. Ok

The room was clean and the folks friendly. The location was on the Main Street within walking distance of stores and shops. The facility was old but clean . The parking was tight but I’m sure it was because of the weekend festivities. Jim Butler Days. For the reasonable price, I would return.

The carpet is worn and dirty. Office closed at 4:30 PM on Sunday, room keys in an outside box that anyone could pick up. No hair blower. No TV channel list. Limited number of chanels. Weak battery in TV remote.

I first had to go looking for the front desk person. Found her raking around the bushes. It took three rooms to get a barely acceptable room. The first room had a broken tv, the second was smoked in - very smelly, the third was barely acceptable - lots of stains on carpet, peeling bath tub. The ice machine was broken so the clerk told me to come to the office if I would like some ice. I went to the office after dinner (about 5:45pm. There was a not on the door that they were out and would return around 8pm.

Das Hotel könnte eine Renovierung vertragen, es war schon etwas abgewohnt und vor allem der Teppich war schmuddelig, aber grundsätzlich war unsere Nacht hier okay. Im Zimmer gab es Kaffee, Dusche und Bett waren okay und die Heizung relativ leise, die grüne Wellblechwand war originell, aber die Tür war verzogen und die Klospülung war fehlerhaft.

Unser Zimmer 29 (an der Gebäudeecke in der Nebenstrasse) hatte zwei ordentliche Queen-Betten, war aber ansonsten etwas veraltet. DIe Parkplätze liegen direkt an der Straße. Frühstück gab es leider keines; das nahmen wir im gegenüberliegenden Mizpah-Hotel zu uns. Für eine Nacht ganz ok. Die Rezeption mit der freundlichen Dame ist spätestens um 20 Uhr nicht mehr besetzt; auch vorher nicht immer offen.
