Staff were super friendly , efficient, very clean, amazing food , cheerfulness and always ready to help. Excellent food The restaurant and entainment manager Shakti, receptionist Aarti and Mary Jane bar area Sudheer Singh , Jean Perre, Jean Claude and the resident dj VijayAka ' Meow Meow' The sega dancers was beautiful. Had an awesome time Recommend anyone to visit Tarisa at Mont Choisy

We stayed at Tarisa Resort for 10 nights. Our room 301 was perfect for what we wanted it was kept spotless by our maid the bed was big & was changed regularly with clean towels each day. The pool was good with plenty of sunbeds & the beech was a stones throw away where you could do all sorts of water activities. The food was a little repetitive. There could have been more choices. The food in the Tandoori restaurant was excellent, and all the staff were very helpful, especially the bar staff & the restaurant manager. As soon as we arrived you could tell it was going to be good by the welcome we received from the reception staff. It may be a 3-star hotel, but some areas felt like a 4-star feel to it. The only downside was that the room & pool towels were dated & need replacing.

This was the second time we had stayed at the Tarisa resort. Went there to celebrate my sister birthday.The room which was supposed to be having a garden view room was a view in woods disappointing for the price we paid. Receptionists upon check in information provided was not clear they just hand out the paper having the hotel information. The room keys looks like they have been over used and definitely need to be replaced with new ones. Food options were limited not so many options on buffet but the food was tasty. No one come to welcome you upon arrival carry your own luggage and receptionists be looking at you from their cubical desk awaiting you to approach them.the toilet in the room had flushing problems the water keeps Going on when you flush. In terms of service also it was depending on their mood,The reception manager was kind and helpful. Some staff were nice the other staff at the Reception laughing at guests when you walk away. The requests are not catered for. Minibar empty, nothing in the minibar. Pathetic bathroom amenities. 2 small soap for 3 people.We Used to love the Tarisa resort but left with some bitter memories.

Great hotel on a beautiful beach, staff can't help you enough, pool is freezing so we opted for a sea swim instead. The food is fine, always something to eat but not a massive choice (we never went hungry). Rooms are nice and big, free air con, ceiling fan and Netflix ( on you own account) Strong drinks at the bar not watered down branded drinks are payable but the house drinks are just as good . Shuttle bus to Grand Baie every day (payable).

Beautiful situated hotel. we had a week in superior room.Very clean, great staff especially D. J who was playing fab music. the beach is superior. we were in quiet period which was extra bonus (for me) Based on all inclusive - food could be better but for the price we paid can't complain. Did 2 excursions swimming with dolphin (Follow by tripto rock and barbuce on island). what I loved the most it wasn't swimming with dolphins in any kind of captivaty. basicly it was swimming next to them (on the speedboat) while they were coming back from their daily routines. very enjoyable although I stayed on the board as not as quick swimmer to keep up with them. lol second trip was to 5 islands and feeding the monkeys. again in their own habitat while on the s boat. they claim down the branches to grab some treats. Mauritius offered everything what I craved for. could done another week.

Just back home from the small paradise.Hotel and room clean and causy.The beach with white sand just 200 meters from the room.We arrived early so we were offered cold drinks and rest till room ready.All staff :room maids,receptionists,portje ,cleaners ,gardeners very polite helpfull and friendly.Spa ladies-absolute goddesses.Big choise of meals and deashes to satisfy needs of turists from all backgrounds and communities.Always fresh fruit and vegs,nice cold juice and water served.Especially I would like to mention Food and beverage staff,who were doing extra mile to make us happy at the breakfast lunch and dinner:Shakti,Jean Claude,Theeruven,Ripon,Ravi and the others.Boys at the bar :Kesaven and the others making exceptionally nice cocktails -masterpieces.Thank’s for kitchen staff:there salad cakes and the other deashes very delicious.Thanks for managment for that exceptional possibility let us feel as members of one big family.We were really well looked after,felt safe and secure. We had possibility for a lot of activities and musical events at the hotel,thanks to DJ animator whose nickname Miau Miau Apologise for staff members whose names were not mentioned!yous all doing great job! Really recomend this place for everyone sho wants causinessand tranquility.I definitely be back for next holiday! Raimonda N.Ireland-Lithuania

Where do I begin.. We returned to Tarisa a year later and have been extremely disappointed and digusted with our 2nd stay at this hotel. The staff and hotel has gone downhill considerably, the food is foul. Very basic and not much to chose from, they don't even top up the buffet as it disappears. 90% of the staff were rude and unwelcoming, tasks were too much for them even though they knew we were returning customers! The balcony was dirty, the pool was green and needing lots of repair, there were shavings of plastic paint all over the grounds which was unsightly! Our pillows were yellow and towels in the room were old and ready for the bin. The gym looks as though its never been cleaned. We were all inclusive but rationed on Water, tea and coffee, and even knapkins with our meals. Tea bags aren't even sealed from bacteria. We ended up spending a large amount of money on top as the dinners especially were inedible. Complete slop! We asked to have plain foods cooked till we were blue on the face, but to no solution. Everything is tired including the poolside beds and cushions, torn and dirty. It's not a pleasure to be around the hotel at all. The hotel allow group guests to take over and make the hotel into a unbearable club like atmosphere, which disturbs people who are there for relaxation. Overall, we are heartbroken. Tarisa has had its day, we just hope they see the light in restoring this potential gem. We will never return to Tarisa and caution do not stay here!

We stayed in Tarisa Resort for over a week and it was our first time experiencing Mauritius and let me tell you what an amazing place it is!! 🥹 Hotel is great, clean, near the beach with great view over the ocean. Sun sets just over the beach so each night we could experience amazing sunsets. Food was delicious! There is a spa in the hotel - we had massage which was very relaxing. Whole hotel crew made our stay so much better and fun! We appreciate all the help and kindness we received from the hotel staff - Shakti, Kamal, Ravin, always ready to make sure we have everything we need and we have a good time ☺️. Thank you Kesaven and Jean Pierre for delicious drinks and coffee 🍹☕️. Through kindness, happiness and hospitality of the staff we felt like we were part of this Island 🌴🇲🇺. Thank you for making our trip one of a kind. We highly recommend Tarisa for your Mauritius experience. Sending (cold) hugs from Poland! 🤗

Poor customer service for Mauritians. Went to get some eggs in the morning , the chef was annoyed at Mauritians for no reason but was smiling and being patient with foreigners. When we check out, the housekeeping guy didn't even knock and open the door hopefully we already took our bath. And we did not receive luggage service when checking out. No cook was available on the 06th Oct around 3pm to 5pm if you wanted to have some snacks. However food and drinks was good and special mention for Ravi the barman who taok care of us and treated us well.
