We’ve just returned from a 7-night stay at La Blanche Resort with TUI and we had a really relaxing break. After reading other reviews, I think some points made are a little unfair. We arrived around 3pm at the Hotel to be told our room wasn’t ready yet and to go to the snack bar and eat and they would be done, which they were. We were allocated a family room on the ground floor which suited us fine. The room was spacious and comfortable. House keeping came by each day and made beds/changed towels. Our only concern was our patio door was left open after nearly every visit and being ground floor our room was accessible from the gardens so we often had to pop back to check and close and lock the door. The pool area was vast with plenty of sun loungers to go round, as well as the beach area. You could have gone to either area at any time and found space, although I image this was a different story at the height of the season. All areas were being constantly cleaned during the day and evening, the guy on the beach was fantastic! Clearing loungers of sand and shaking out towels, he really did a fabulous job. The only downside we found were the boat sales and spa guy, they were all very pushy and the spa man downright rude, we saw him numerous times shaking his head at people and muttering whilst walking off. If I don’t want a boat ride or a massage, I am well within my rights to refuse you, don’t then pester me or try and educate me on how I should spend my money. Food was good, we always found something to eat – we’ve turned into a country that gets upset if English cuisine isn’t on the menu and that’s really sad as there were lots of tasty different dishes to try. The snack bar was also a fab place to eat, we ate there a few times – fast and easy to order from the QR Code, apparently its 24hrs but we didn’t test this! There Is also cake and rolls available at the bar under the stairs to get throughout the day so lots to choose from. We enjoyed a meal in the Turkish A ’La Carte restaurant one evening. My husband booked one morning at Guest Relations, no issues with that, but again could see that being busy during high season. Food was plentiful and full of flavour, we left there absolutely stuffed! We really were spoilt for choice when it came to bars. Our favourite was the beach bar as during the evenings it was often quieter and more relaxing. There was entertainment at the main bar, but this didn’t interest us, so we found ourselves finding the quieter spots to enjoy. The staff in all the bars/restaurants all work tirelessly to look after everyone. We witnessed on a few occasions people talking down to them and treating them poorly, so you can understand why at times they probably aren’t the smiley-est, but we never had an issue with anyone, and appreciate the hard work they put in. We headed out into the local town a couple of times, really nice 10-minute walk along the beachfront, note it is not well lit when its dark. This was a nice chan
