Wingate by Wyndham Tuscaloosa 4918 Skyland Blvd E Tuscaloosa, Alabama This hotel is very poorly managed with no customer service. I arrived at the hotel at approx. 900 pm on a Sunday night after driving 12 hours all day and left the hotel around midnight. The disturbance on my assigned floor was loud, and I could not get to sleep. People were out in the hallway loudly congregating and were visiting others in the hotel hallway that did not have a reservation there. Many people constantly leaving the elevator and entering the elevator on the floor that I was on at 1030 pm, 11 pm, and 1130 pm. The phone in my hotel room did not work, so I walked downstairs to report the disturbance to the front desk around 11 pm. I told the hotel clerk that I was unable to sleep and would need to leave the hotel due to the disturbance on my floor explaining that I had a 10 hour drive the following day. The hotel clerk said that she could not refund my money. I left the hotel around midnight and found another hotel in Gadsden, Alabama. I called the manager (Misty) at Wingate by Wyndham Tuscaloosa the following day to attempt to explain the disturbance and what happened, and she refused to refund my money and was curt with a bad attitude, interruptive, and unprofessional. I was also charged twice by Wingate by Wyndham Tuscaloosa and had to contact my credit card company the following day.
