I booked this hotel as a birthday trip for my husband and I. Was the worst experience ever. We travel every other month and have stayed in many hotels but we have never had the need to write a review but this hotel customer service has to be the worst. No communication with humans, everything is done via WhatsApp, every hotel comes to clean your room every day this is the only hotel where you have to ask them to give you fresh towels, to clean your room, even when food is ordered they do not come to clear up unless you call them so there are flies and bees buzzing around you due to the fact they don’t clean up. There is a pool there which is freezing btw but nevertheless you need fresh towels all the time if you’re using the pool and having to message every-time is ridiculous. I am pregnant we ordered dinner from the hotel, baring in mind it’s a 5star hotel we ordered steak which looked like something I would feed my dogs or maybe not. It was cold, rock solid, was suppose to be served with baby potatoes, and there was 1 potato on the plate that too cut in half. We were absolutely fuming, told them to replace the food, waited 30mins and I had to WhatsApp them asking for my food and they said ‘sorry kitchen is closed if you need food you can travel 1km to the nearest food store’ fuming is not the word for how I was feeling. I asked for a manager in the morning, nobody came to see us, we checked out and told the person on the reception who seemed to be the only human there about our experience and said we will write a review, instead of being apologetic, or even a little bit concern, his words were ‘ok’ with a slapped on face. Worst experience ever, after spending over £500 a night. Please don’t waste your money & holiday. Pictures are catfished. Service is atrocious.
