I can understand why the hotel had repeat custom. The location is perfect and the hotel is spread out so you can have various different experiences based on your tastes. The staff are mostly fantastic. As with any large staff there are those that carry the poor performers. I would mostly like to praise the housekeeping staff for keeping everything so clean and tidy, and the chefs. The food is incredible in both its quality and variety. We are at three A la cartes. Phaselis Chinese - superb, best meal on the resort. Balbura Italian - again very tasty but gets a lot of noise from the main restaurant. Arnna- lovely place, but very strange food. Menu looked fine on paper but what was delivered was very strange. Unfortunately the main restaurant Front of House was poor for so many covers. No organisation during service, so difficult to find a table of understand the layout of the self service. The front reception is very busy and packed, and a bottle neck most of the time. Not the best first impression of the place. We walked miles each day as the resort extends across the cove and is up and down the hillside. If you are not able bodied you may struggle. The evening entertainment was poor compared to other resorts we have stayed in Turkey. I would have liked some acoustic live music and singers. The coffee shop and patisserie were stand out to me. I’m not much of a breakfast person but a coffee and a croissant are perfect mid morning. The pools are not heated, so be prepared. The sea is beautiful and 26degrees at the end of September. Bring your water shoes as it is quite sharp underfoot. I was very pleased to find a free of charge laundry on site so you dont have to go home with cases of dirty clothes. A very enjoyable week away, but I would not stay again on the family side as meal times are very disorganised and quite stressful.
