Super cool pool area for both young and old. The whole concept of a car-free campsite works really well. Very friendly staff (who speak good English) and super nice events are held every day. Holiday gets 10 out of 10 here from Denmark, the only thing we regret is that we didn't have more days! :)

We have done a good few Eurocamps this one was well located if you have a car. However you are not allowed to drive your car into the actually place which means a walk or a golf buggy taxi service to your accommodation. I was expecting loads of mosquitoes as you are close to water and hundreds of trees there was some but nowhere as bad as Venice for sure. On site shop is a complete joke for prices out of control avoid avoid prices compared to the local super markets only 1 mile away martineaz was our choice which had everything and unreal prices 2 t bone steaks as an example €12 wine €2 to €4 processo €3 Parma freshly cut 10 slices highest standard $3 . The actually cooking facilities although basic were good. Fridge microwave cooker electric freezer. God send was we had an Air Con unit this is a must for me as temps got up to 37 I would suggest this is a must. The on site food restaurant take away was average at best has to be said and expensive for what you got. 2 small pizzas and chicken nuggets as an example will set you back €30 feels like snack food. Onsite swimming for young kids this is the best I have seen otherwise my review would be lower. However the entertainment in the evening is poor standard very poor indeed. The arcade for the kids is terrible and becarful with the rip of token scheme . Car parking on site is another problem very few spaces and most families bringing more than one car. There is a more adult pool called the Olympic pool which was easier to get sunbeds and had a pool bar drinks there where averaged proced €4 up . After 9pm though it really is be quiet they are very tough on that here. It is make your own entertainment really yahtzee here we go. There is a little gift shop to not much to write home about. But a good location to base yourself for a morning swim to lunchtime or set of to Verona in the car or Lake Garda plenty of great shopping or eating out spots to visit unlimited actually. If on a budget I would suggest a car and I would suggest buying your food from a local supermarket and cooking it will save a fortune and in general will be better. Plenty of cheap wine . I would go back but not without a car I think for those families flying in to this resort will be furious at the prices and lack of evening entertainment.

We’ve actually been here twice this year - the first time at the end of May and just now in mid August. We booked the August trip when we returned from the May one which probably speaks for itself. The pools here for the kids (and adults) are just amazing. Staff also 10/10. Areas of issue are mentioned in other reviews - overpriced supermarket, not great onsite food - but solved by having a car and shopping at a local supermarket or the Aldi 10 mins drive away. Second time here we have cooked for every meal but one (bbq and hob only, there is no oven). You can buy your own (exceptionally cheap at Aldi) drinks and take them to the entertainment if you want to be frugal. We’ve also found the mozzies awful this time, weren’t bitten at all in May! I would advise checking where on site your accommodation type is - being close to the centre will cost a little more but is 100% worth it if you have small kids and want to be able to nip in and out easily - the accommodation near reception and further up toward the entrance is too far to walk and requires a land train. Only draw back is noise until 11pm but it’s not awful. Also you’ll need to ask for a buggy to help with your shopping and luggage at check in as the central lodges can’t be parked next to. We flew from the uk and hired a car both times, first time into Verona and second into Bergamo. Both very simple. We had no idea what to expect before coming here as had never been to a Hu before, but we’re now complete converts and will definitely be trying others.

Great campsite with fantastic pools We had a beautifully appointed bungalow .We were very close to the pool and amenities. Some other bungalows are located further away from the main campsite...luckily ours was perfect. Accommodation was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen . Our 7 and 10 year old were thrilled with the facilities. Slides were amazing. We had a car which we felt was essential as the campsite is a 10 minute drive from lake garda...its out in the middle of the country side . Thee food on the onsite restaurant was very expensive for what was only ok food. We ate mainly in lake garda where better quality and value ca n be got. To be honest the cost of food and drink is very high.6.50 for a glass of wine and 4 euros for a 7 up.A car is therefore essential to get off site anf get better value. The campsite is an ideal base for exploring lake garda.

This is our third Hu site (previous stays as Norcenni Girasole and Camping Village Fabulous), and the second time we’ve stayed in a mobile home operated by Hu. As always, the site was clean, safe and well run, with fabulous pools. The staff were keen and helpful and the mobile home itself (Easy XL River: 3 bed, site 730) was clean and comfortable. My only real issue, were that with no oven, grill or kettle, making tea and toast in the morning wasn’t on the cards, and the knives were dangerously blunt, with no way to sharpen them (until I bought a sharpener). We had a fantastic stay and would really recommend this site and Hu!

Just back from A 2 week holiday. Overall the kids loved the site. Good entertainment at night. Accommodation was clean and as described. Pool area was good. Wi-Fi was poor, the main concern we had, was the food. We found the food onsite below standard. Takeaway is ok but the restaurant quality of food was average for a site of its size. Also was hard to get a table. Had a meal the 1st night and didn’t go back. Pool Bar food was very overpriced.

Wifi tragic, speed and quality below any standards, need to log in every hour, signal disconnecting, speed slower than isdn modem, last year it was much better, i wonder what was the cause because camping was not so overcrouded as last year,

the staff were unbelievably rude, i stayed with friends in a cabin without enough room to swing a cat. there was bedbugs and insects in the cabin when we got there and the staff stated that it wasn’t their problem. genuinely wouldn’t feed the food you’d get there to my worst enemy, practically inedible. they charged nearly €10 to change the disgusting bedsheets. Italys a beautiful place but stay somewhere else to enjoy.
