Our multigenerational family stayed on this working farm cum accommodations for 4 nights in the middle of summer. The location was wonderful -- rolling hills and vineyards; easy access to small towns, villages, Modena balsamic vinegar. The staff member with whom we had the most contact was a gem. Giacomo was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and sincerely interested in our well-being. Other staff seemed more distant. Food at breakfast was very good, with variety between fresh fruit and well crafted baked goods. We looked forward to the homemade jams each morning, and the cappuccino was expertly prepared. When dinner was available, it was quite good and paired nicely with the farm's own wines. The farm collaborated with 2 sisters who presented a pasta cooking class, which we enjoyed enormously. They offered that we could go home, try the recipes, and email them with any questions. Our room was reasonably comfortable, but nothing special. There is an entertainment venue in a building about 200 meters from the accommodations, used once during our stay. I did not find it too obtrusive. There is indeed a pool for swimming, but it also attracted many bees and wasps, so it was not suitable for young children. In summary, a pretty good place for a relaxed stay in the countryside.
