528 Victoria Falls Guest House

The staff and owners were great. A perfect B&B aka guest house for Victoria Falls. No problem for the driver to find the spot. We were greeted well and provided a tour. Our room was nice with netting around the bed. The breakfast was outside in the patio, very nice. They had a friendly golden retriever there, that made it feel like home. Part of the breakfast was customized for each person. We needed some additional US dollars, and the owner was great to take our South African Rands and did an exchange for us. They have a taxi driver they recommend to get around, so get that telephone number from them. We would absolutely recommend 528 Victoria Falls to anyone.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast to stay at in Victoria Falls with lovely decor throughout and super friendly staff. The rooms were pleasant with views of the gardens - some have small balconies. The rooftop honour bar is a nice place to sit with its view out to the Falls but we preferred to lie by the pool with resident Labrador keeping us company. Breakfast was set by the pool for us and absolutely delicious. 528 is a great location to explore all the activities Victoria Falls has to offer and an inexpensive taxi service is provided. You just have to book it with one of the staff when you know where you want to go. The owners have a wealth of knowledge about the area as they have lived there for several years. It is worth pointing out that there are a lot of stairs which could be difficult to manage for anyone with a mobility issue. Normally this would not be a problem for me but I had severely hurt my knee on Safari (dancing!) and I did struggle a bit. As they were booked out I couldn't change my room but was able to manage. Just be aware. There is a shop very close by where you can pick up some delicious cheese and biscuits / snacks at a reasonable cost. It is also very safe to walk around during the day just watch out for the naughty baboons. We dined at Vic Falls Safari Lodge, Cassia, Victoria Falls Hotel and 3 Monkeys - all completely different and all delicious. Elephants serenaded us on the road on our final night as we left our dinner at the Safari Lodge. Can't beat that!

What a wonderful time we had at 528. We felt so welcome. The room was very nice. Everything was so well organized. You gave us good advice for trips, restaurants… When we went on an early trip, breakfest was ready to take with us. If you go to Victoria Falls don’t hesitate and book 528!

This family run business went over the top in assisting us with our travel itinerary. The accommodations were excellent and breakfast was cooked to order. They gave us the impression that we were their top priority so we will definitely stay here on our next trip!

A beautiful independent boutique hotel in Victoria Falls. Small and quiet with beautiful interior design touches. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and this was a wonderful place to stay. There is an indoor and outdoor breakfast area, and small pool. Plenty of shady or sunny areas to sit and relax and a beautiful friendly golden labrador who loves company in the garden.

After being on safari 528 Guest House was such a treat. The room was comfortable, the breakfast amazing, the setting beautiful and the hosts kind and generous with their love and knowledge of Zimbabwe. We so enjoyed our stay and wished we could have extended our time in Victoria Falls. Thank you Meredith, Paul and William for making our stay so lovely.
