First time stay at the Lodge, Sugerbush now owns the place, along with the shop just up the street. They seem to be making a real estate play for everything from German Flat Road all the way up the hill. The good - they remade the rooms and everything was clean, comfortable, and warm. The walls are a little thin but in no way should this place be getting the terrible reviews it previously had. The lounge is cozy with fireplace, and the bartender is a fabulous mixologist! Wish it was open every evening rather than just Thursday-Saturday. It would be great if there was a breakfast option, but you have to fend for yourself. Price was so so, and gets very pricy during peak weekends. Still, not bad, especially if you can score an IKON discount booking with it. Will return, with a box of cheerios for when I wake up.
