Holiday Inn Express & Suites Weatherford

Excellent hotel on the south side of Weatherford immediately adjacent to I-20. Location is perfect for anything you want to do or visit in the Weatherford area. Hotel appears to be very new and the staff was very attentive to anything we needed. Our room, with a small exception, was perfect - laid out well and the furnishings very modern and immaculate. Room air conditioner relatively quiet (small vibration but not a big deal) and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also good with several hot dishes (scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, and a pancake machine) We did notice some mold the base of the walk in shower. We’ve noticed this at some other hotels as well - hard to understand as it’s way to take care of if you maintain frequently (Tilex spray etc). If not for this we would have given the hotel a 5 star

Having home repairs to my bathroom so I booked this Motel and I am glad I did. Awsome staff from the afternoon to the AM when I checked out. Room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Bed was great and a quiet location even being by the interstate! Breakfast buffet was probably one of the best I have seen.

I have never left a review in my life but the manager at this hotel truly lacks so much empathy I felt I needed to share. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable - the staff was also kind however the manager lack of empathy and assistance is the worst I have ever seen. We booked rooms for a wedding for April 2024 - with that people in our reservations arrived at different days/times. When someone from our reservation went down to check into our room blocked room she was asked if she wanted to extend her stay instead.. confused she said yes and was charged a full price rate of rooms. With that was asked if she wanted to cancel the reservations the manager saw in her files... why would have her extend her stay if she had her other paid reservations in her file... for the exact same dates, rooms and rates... When she cancelled that it also cancelled my parents reservations. When we arrived to the hotel at 12:30am due to flight delays we were told we had no room. The kind man at the front said they were sold out but called his manager for assistance.. she said over the phone "I am sorry but they will have to figure it out themselves." I understand they couldn't provide a room at that point but the lack of empathy for leaving my senior aged parents on the street in an unfamiliar city at 1am is frustrating in itself. After checking out we noticed we were charged full price instead of our room blocked rate... we have called into the hotel multiple times to resolve the issue told there is nothing that can be done, it was our mistake, or that we will get call backs and never do. I have spent over 3 hours on calls trying to resolve this and the manager is not willing to assist. A manager is a full reflection of a company and in this case she has done nothing to make our experience easier or better and it as been an extreme disappointment.

We did not spend much time in our hotel. We were here to visit family. This hotel is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. I did like it that they had gluten free bagels at breakfast. Pool and exercise room available and looked clean. We did not use those.

We came for a family member’s wedding in Weatherford. Since we knew that we would be spending time in the room we booked a suite. We were on the third floor and faced the road. We did hear the highway. Another family member was on the first floor facing the road and heard no highway noise. I did get used to it then didn’t even notice it. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. Room was clean and towels replaced everyday. The breakfast selection was good. Danishes, cereal, fruit, yogurt , eggs, potatoes or biscuits with gravy I would only suggest the addition of unsweetened lactose free milk to the selection. The equipment in the gym were in excellent condition We used the treadmill and the elliptical. The pool area is open until 11 but is not supervised so don’t swim alone Hot tub was great before bed. I would gladly stay again. Don’t hesitate to book.

We stayed 2 nights on a cross country trip and liked this hotel a lot. Ask for any room in the back of the hotel for a sunny exposure and quiet stay away from the highway. Loved the bright, newly renovated lobby and breakfast area. The indoor pool looked nice too but we didn’t use it. Our room was spacious and the mattress was excellent, soft but very supportive, especially for my sore hip. A couple added advantages of this Holiday Inn - free laundry!! You will be hard pressed to find that at comparable hotels. Also we appreciated easy access to the highway while being able to cycle out the back road and immediately get onto beautiful low traffic country roads!

If you like rock hard beds this is the place for you. They offered us comforters to put under sheets and still hard as a brick. The best place to stay for soft beds is Holiday Inn Express Forest Hill location. They were sold out so that’s the only reason we stayed here. Never again! Towels are rough also.

Difficult to make a reservation--transferred to alternate site with no warning they were going to charge me $100 extra for reservation. I asked several times to agent who was not a clear English speaker if I was incurring an extra charge and he kept repeating he was giving me the best rate. When I arrived for a 2 night stay the jacuzzi was broken and remained so my entire stay even while I was reassured it would be repaired. When I checked out and explained my complaints, I was told the manager would be in touch. Yes, she emailed me and said she hoped my next stay was better. Also for those who like a bath, the shampoo, gel, etc are in a holder shower level so one has to climb up and down to use. Substandard housekeeping. I had to call and ask for service our 2nd day. Cups for coffee not replenished until requested. We were very disappointed.
