I’m not the type to typically leave a review. I have been here 3 nights and I have 4 more. I am currently sitting in my room because I have a conference break. There is constant banging in the room above me, I am told they are doing renovations. I decided to take it down to the pool and try to relax for just a little while unfortunately maintenance was down there and it’s right next to the highway so after an hour, I’ve decided to come back to the room to change and go find something to do off the hotel property due to there is still banging and drills overhead. When I checked in, I was told that I was not on the concierge level because I was in a suite the very kind lady at the front desk Katina was upfront with me and let me know that my room had not been updated so it was a little out of date. I greatly appreciated her, giving me that heads up. And yes, it is out of date but nonetheless since I was here for six nights, I wanted a larger room. The bed is uncomfortable. I’m not sure how many years the mattress has been in this room, too many would be my guess. Their concierge lounge is not open on the weekends only on weekdays. For two days, I left a note beside the coffee maker that said please may I have some extra coffee and cream. They left my note there and never left extra coffee or cream. Today the cleaning person I had decided to throw away receipts. I had on the coffee table in my living room that I needed for my expense report. I walked downstairs instead of calling and the very kind gentleman at the front desk called. Someone told me to go back to my room that they would be coming. I sat here for 20 minutes, listening to the banging, finally called back downstairs to ask how much longer I should wait before I could head to the pool he said well she just called. She’s on the 10th floor. She’s headed down to you. Waited 20 more minutes and said the heck with it and went down to the pool. It has not been the best experience however I was greeted by one of the most kindest employees I have experienced at a Marriott resort, Katina and each day she has been here it instantly brings me joy because of her kindness and and big smile. With being in a suite, I have a living room and a bedroom. There is a fridge in both areas. The one in the living room was frozen over so I unplugged it and put a towel on it so it could defrost. The one in the bedroom was not working and smelled terrible the following day when I found the HID device. It looks as though it was unplugged in order to put that device in. The food here at the hotel at least in the restaurant is quick and very good servers are not very attentive, but it doesn’t take long for your food to come out and I’ve eaten there a few times and I’ve had wonderful food both times. The Lakeview property I thought I was getting was not quite what I had expected. I will post a picture. No one I have spoken to has been able to get the Netflix to work on their tvs and I found 2 units in plug ins that
