No. 98 Boutique Hotel

We had another lovely weekend staying here, our third time! We love being by the sea & spontaneously decided to come to one of our favourite places in Weymouth. This time we had Room No.5 at the rear of the hotel, very quiet. The bed was divine, didn’t want to get up - was so spacious & comfortable with the best pillows. The room was immaculately clean, couldn’t fault it with all the facilities expected. The breakfast is always so nice, with plenty to choose from, all fresh local produce. The hotel is situated in a great location, opposite the sandy beach & close to all bars, restaurants & shops. The train station is only 2 minutes walk away & parking is behind the hotel, A big thank you to Sue & Derek for making our stay so enjoyable, highly recommend.

As the time says I wish I could rate this hotel higher. After a long journey from Wales we couldn’t have had a more friendly and warmer welcome. Derek greeted us and was so lovely, took the time to chat to us as we checked in. He showed us to our room which was so homely and comfortable and immaculate. The cleanliness was at another level. There were homemade cupcakes waiting for us that were baked by Suzanne that morning, what a lovely touch. There was a sign on the wall that said we want you to relax and feel at home. That is exactly what you get from Derek and Suzanne. You can tell they take a so much pride in what they do, it’s not just a business it is clear that they take pleasure from making sure their guests are happy. The breakfast was probably the best standard of breakfast we have had in a hotel. The quality of the products that are locally sourced were prepared by Suzanne and were so tasty. The sausages were fab! :) I can’t recommend this boutique hotel enough, Derek and Suzanne have literally thought of everything. If you book here you will not be disappointed and will most definitely want to stay longer!

Fantastic stay in this wonderful hotel, absolutely immaculate throughout, the breakfast is the best weve ever had in hotel. All cooked to order and served by the host Derek, who is an excellent host with vast knowledge of the local area. We really enjoyed listening to his great stories and the little quiz about the menu. Highly recommended hotel for a stay in Weymouth. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Very welcoming hosts and seaside themed decor. Comfortable, clean room overlooking the sea but not too noisy. Exceptionally hot during our visit but fan provided. Super bedding. Excellent breakfast cooked to order with homemade jams and compote and cakes available on arrival. Great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Booked for one night but stayed two!

Just like the rest of the hotel, our room and en suite were immaculate with everything we needed. Being on the front we had a lovely sea view and the location was perfect! Super close to everything, but not so much so as to be hectic and noisy. Derek & Suzanne clearly care very deeply about delivering a good service. There were even home baked cupcakes by the door. The breakfast was yummy and catered for a vegan diet.

What a lovely stay. Lots of little details that made our stay so lovely from fantastic communication pre-arrival to a friendly welcome from the hotel hosts, fresh baked muffins, advice on restaurants and walks and an absolutely delicious cooked breakfast. The rooms are light, clean and extremely comfortable bed. Location fabulous with direct access to the beach, harbour and town centre . Lovely to wake up and be able to see the sea! I would 100% recommend no.98 boutique hotel to anybody. Thank you for making our stay so lovely .
