We stopped here on the way from Johannesburg to a safari camp near Etosha National Park. Very comfortable beds, not too close to the airport so not terribly convenient for overnight stay. Staff is very kind and attentive. Rooms on the street side are quite noisy at night and early morning.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting- a colonial building on a hillside overlooking the city. The rooms were very clean and well appointed and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. We ate in the hotel both nights we stayed, which is not our normal thing to do but the food was so good the first time! The main restaurant was being renovated so we were in a small tower room for dinner which was beautiful. The hotel arranged for a city tour for us which was excellent- museum, local food markets and craft centre. The guide Matheus made it clear we didn’t have to buy anything on the stops if we didn’t want to. The tour cost 500N$ but was worth a lot more.

The hotel was so good we came back at the end of our holiday for an extra two nights. The food is excellent and complimented by an extensive wine list. It has an incredible view overlooking Windhoek and the gorgeous sunsets. We also loved the breakfast which comes included. It’s a buffet breakfast, best enjoyed outside on the terrace with a newspaper and complimentary glass of bubbly! The staff and manager were very welcoming and tended to our every need. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye to both them and the hotel.

Hotel Heinitzburg was our last stop in Rwanda. We arrived there after a three week trip throughout Namibia. We were treated with a glass of sparkling wine and escorted to our rooms. The Hotel is small and high above the city. The views are amazing. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The closet space was huge and also had a small refrigerator and safe. We had dinner there and had a wonderful seafood dish. Unfortunately we left too early for breakfast but our friend said it was great too.

Loved this hotel, rooms are great, food was wonderful and the staff exceptional, would defiantly stay there again and highly recommended anyone going to Windhoek to as well, i look forward to retuning someday i hope

We stayed here at the beginning and at the end of our 2 weeks Namibian tours and this is the perfect stop over. The rooms are very large although a bit dated and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The pool area is very pleasant and the view of the town from the terrace is beautifully breathtaking especially at night…couldn’t fault it!

We had a one night stay at the hotel and overall, super pleasant and relaxing. We had a room with a private pool entrance (basically a side door leading straight to the pool) and it was nice to lounge there and play some cards. It was pretty quiet (only one other couple) and we were able to order some drinks from reception to be delivered poolside. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne, water in the fridge and pool towels at reception. We also ate dinner at the hotel with great views of the city and a beautiful sunset. Customer service was top notch! The steak and fish was delicious and actually, the best part was probably the sorbet. So fresh! The breakfast the next morning was also one of the best breakfast buffets I've had in Namibia with fresh blueberries and honeydew, salmon/cured fish, and fresh bread. Everything was great until about 8:30am when the jack-hammering and the noise from next door (I think they were preparing the room next door). Anyway, I would still recommend but just to note that maybe to eat breakfast during this time so you're away from your room.

We booked a room for our 20th anniversary, what a disappointment it was. Firstly we were just dumped in the room, no WATER , glasses or tea/ coffee making facilities. Small TV not even digital, Toilet seat was loose so you had to move around to get it in the right position. Towels old & had dirty marks! Cheap pillows! For a Hotel that charge the money they do it's shocking. Room & furnishings tired, bathroom tired, shower in bath? In 2022? No view except into the neighbours garden and the little court yard. Room is dark and dingy too. Resturant- way to expensive for their mediocre & limited menu! Smallest Sole I have ever seen& potatoes cold. Breakfast served in a little room? Also needs redecorating! Eggs overdone, bacon burned and cold. Staff were lovely but unfortunately that doesn't make up for our stay& dining experience, will definitely not recommend or go back! It's definitely not worth the money they charge!

Sur les hauteurs de Windhoek, dans un quartier calme et sécurisé, très bel hôtel. Beaux jardins, belle piscine. Magnifique vue sur la ville. Personnel efficace et pro. Superbe chambre, très confortable. Excellente literie. Excellent petit déjeuner.
