Windsor Motel

It's not bad it's at the end of to main street of Windsor where all the shops are. Windsor river is practically next street over with a huge park and plenty of parking

Absolutely shocking , filthy dirty , rat evidence even on the bed and in the bathroom. So outdated and so dirty

Booked this motel knowing it was on the cheaper side but holy crap. It was worse than expected. Room wasn't ready until after 4. My bathroom smelt like pee and was wet, suspect the toilet was leaking considering it moved. The place was disgustingly filthy. Paint missing off doors. Holes between walls and roof. Everything felt dirty, it smelled, it was horrible. Did not stay and Do NOT recomend.

Although we were in this motel room in this complex only for about 20 minutes, I am reviewing this motel , like so many others before me for no other reason but to pre warn future guests of buyer beware! Incidentally we actually never pre booked this motel complex ( Winsd.Motel)room but another one with a different name across the road, i am second guessing owned by the same business owners . On arriving at the said motel we had booked at and paying both a room fee of $100, and then a further bond damages assurity of $50.,( without any prior disclosing of this), we were handed a key and an old broken tv remote with the back cover hanging of it, then told we were not staying at this complex but actually across the road to the winsdor motel, without being informed prior of this substitution. So bags back into the car and over the road we drove. On opening the rickety front door the overbearing smell of damp and bleach confronted us. On turning on the dim main light, vision in the room was not the best so on trying to turn on the fluro lights over the main bead, they were found to not work, as were the fluro light over the kettle /tea making area. In trying to wash my hands after a long drive, there was no hot water forthcoming from taps only cold. As we had paid a damages bond I was not going to cop any undue expenses from my bond fee so i rang the uninterested reception man at the other motel ( The Windsor motel had no reception open) to have these issues documented. There was stains and damp spots in irregular areas of the carpet, mould in the bathroom on the wall, ceiling, tiles, some of which were broken, and an old stained shower curtain, and several bugs on the ceiling in main part of the room. The cup was dirty when i went to make a cup of tea, crud in the bottom of it, so unable to make a tea. As there was no where to sit except on the stained bedspread over the double bed, my husband sat on it to make a phone call, putting the thin rock of a pillow behind his head., only to have a rather modest size cockroach insect scuttle out from between the pillow cover and crawl over him. Terrifyingly this was the clincher for us, I once again waited for the receptionist to answer the phone, demanded he come over to view for himself all the issues we had just witnessed. Eventually he came over, and the response from him astoundingly was Oh! So what do you want me to do about it!We were gobsmacked, & our response was simply that we could not stay in this room and wished not to stay in any of the other rooms either , we requested a refund of our monies so we could move on to another accomodation facility. This was refused, and we were told to come back tomorrow and speak to the manager, of which we said we couldn't as we would be well and truly on our way back home .Once again we tried to explain quite amicably that the room was filthy, smelt, infested with insects and mould, no hot water, lights not working and dirty cups, no hand towel or

The filthiest hotel I have ever been to in Australia. The rooms were a disgrace, the security lock was broken and on the floor. The office staff were completely disinterested and would not even offer us alternate accomodation. We could not stay there because of the state of the rooms and we felt unsafe. I had booked in for 5 nights and had to find alternate accomodation for my family over the Christmas week.

This place is a health hazard and needs shutting down & bull-dozing – stay away! The Mrs and myself stayed here on the 16 Mar 24 as there was nowhere else around the area available that night. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or made up properly before our arrival, the bed wasn’t made-up and only one pillow had a “fresh” pillow case on it – the other had no pillow case fitted and was absolutely disgusting and needs to be thrown away (so glad we took our own pillows). The carpet in the room was “sticky and stained”, there were cobwebs throughout the room, stains on the walls etc, there was large spider was living in the AC unit above the bed and the room furniture was broken. In the bathroom the shower and shower curtain had mold everywhere, the exhaust fan didn’t work, there was no drain grate in the hand basin and the bathroom was generally in a poor state. Also, when departing I noticed there was a syringe sitting on top of the door frame leading into the bathroom! On departure the outside steps leading up to the upstairs room were very slippery (due to a light shower) and had become very dangerous. This place deserves a ZERO rating! To top it off, they have the hide to take a $100 security deposit on the room that took a week to get back!

DO NOT STAY HERE! RED FLAG? mattresses piled up out the door came back TO BITE ME! BED BUGS! extreme discomfort, receiving medical treatment. I have bites all over me!. WARNING. NEEDS IMMEDIATE CLOSURE and DE INFESTATION FROM PEST CONTROL.

OMG this place needs to be CONDEMNED..We spent 2 long awful nights in this place.. we didnt even use the Shower as it was just disgusting... they were filthy, and should be condemned !!! The SMELL of the rooms is horrible i think its also the local place for ******* as well.. same women a couple of times .. with a different guy.. Shudder.. The mattress had blood on it, toilet door doesnt close or lock, carpets full of whatever stains you can think of.. tiles broken on the vanity basin, mould on the shower curtain, cracked front window.. etc etc... im sure it i sprayed Luminol in there it would light up like a blue light disco !! The air con was full of 100 years of dust and mould, UNUSABLE and it was hot and stuffy in there they dont do a daily make up...towels where theadbare and useless .. and they charge $125 PER NIGHT.. YES i had read the reviews before I left but i had no where else to go.... we took our own fly spray and bleach... I was gonna sleep in the car... ABSOLUTLY FILTHY.. It needs condemming and soon.. !! i really dont know how it can continue to operate.. Does the health inspectors ever check them out ???? PLEASE read the many,many reviews and dont waste your money here..PLEASE..

If I could copy the review below I would. Stained dirty pillows, mould in the shower. We booked through *********** so no refund but we are contacting them to let them know how bad this place is. We checked out and are now staying elsewhere. There are plenty of motels in this price range which are great. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
