Colonial Motel

We’ve been coming here since kids were young now bring the grandkids. Pool is so awesome! Close to walk downtown Bowman Park etc. I can’t say enough about this awesome motel! The best ever for Wo ZhaWa Festival can watch the parade right from motel property. If you can get a room have to book early we reserve ours year to year we wouldn’t want to lose out on this gem!!

What a perfectly quaint motel! We stopped here on a whim and I'm so happy that we did. The stay here reminded me of road trips in the 70s where all you cared about was a bed and a pool. The rooms were impeccably clean and you couldn't beat the rates. It is such a convenient location to walk downtown and see all the shops. Would definitely recommend if you want a place to lay your head while enjoying the activities in the Dells.

I chose this motel because it was the best reviewed cheap motel in town. It lived up to my expectations. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel room and just need a place to rest your head every night you're in the Dells this place is completely serviceable. The staff is attentive and friendly. The HDTVs are better than the one's you'll see in most higher-end hotels, given they're regular consumer grade TVs, so you have full access to all the inputs on the TV with the remote. I also spent a night at the Mt. Olympus resort during my time in the Dells, so I can tell you for a fact that the Colonial Motel has better, more stable Wi-Fi than Mt. Olympus. So if that's important to you this is your place. If you don't plan on renting a car this place is also fantastic, because it's at the end of the main ***** of the downtown Dells. You could have a full week of fun with this place as your home-base and never walk for longer than 25 minutes. They also provide discounts to other businesses in town, I saved $6 on the Original Wisconsin Duck Boats just by mentioning the Colonial at the ticket desk. It's a fine little place to stay.
