What a lovely hidden gem in Woodbridge Suffolk, we stayed in the Explorer room on the 28th October and on first impressions the hosts are welcoming. Within 5 minutes of arriving we were met greeted and shown to our room the host asked if we required a table for dinner that evening and we did not as visiting family locally. Room The room was large spacious with a queen bed it was very comfortable. Extra blackest stored in room. The bathroom was large with a shower over the bath. Water pressure very good, nice and clean plenty of bathroom tissue and mini toiletries.. shampoo , body wash and lotion. Additional Iron and board Kettle and Nespresso machine Cups , spoons and coffee pot Nespresso coffee capsules, Tea , sugar and Creamer 2 bottles water still and carbonated Bedside lamp coffee table and local places of interest maps and brochures Wi-Fi code and Breakfast menu Television with multiple channels View from room As located in the Garden of the pub it was of the Garden area Entrance via the carpark with a porch entrance and two rooms one was the Explorer Room other rooms are via a staircase. Breakfast Omg amazing hats off to chef and staff it's worth the journey from Kent for this . Firstly Great value for money Staff again polite helpful and courteous confirming during the meal all was well. We both had an English breakfast. Huge plate of food wish I took a picture.. Eggs how you like Black pudding Mushrooms Baked beans 3 rashers of bacon A plump sausage Grilled tomatoes 2 slices of toast Condiments, butter , ketchup BBQ sauce etc All eaten in a quaint historical pub with a wealth of history and a stunning log fire. I also saw many board games on offer Next time we will be dinning and staying here it was perfect and 100 percent yes we will definitely stay here again lucky locals.
