I just returned from a 7 night stay with a group of 10-11 couples. The location of the hotel is stellar, but I do not understand why everyone is giving this five star reviews. The front desk experience is mixed: they do not seem to keep records of requests, every time I needed something somebody else was behind the desk who had no idea what I was talking about. Breakfast is just OK, as an example, they only have vanilla yogurt, notwithstanding my frequent request for plain yogurt over a seven nights stay. More critically, food service at breakfast is painfully slow when you are trying to get out in the morning even though the staff is extremely sweet and trying to be helpful. That said the early morning coffee & juice set up in the lobby is excellent, and the roof top space is also darling. The standard rooms are smallish, but very comfortable. There is no lobby to speak of, and after the rooftop and the breakfast room/ restaurant close at 11 PM there is nowhere in the entire hotel to sit to talk to somebody else. Besides your room. My main complete complaint is inconsistent cleaning and very late cleaning, with rooms often not taken care of until 5-6pm, floors not properly washed, toilet paper not replaced: basic housekeeping is inadequate. I think management needs to up the game with breakfast service, housekeeping and reception. It would go a long way. It is a very pleasant stay, but not excellent.
