What a horrible experience I encountered at this hotel. Upon arrival, I found out that our "seaview room" was facing buildings with only a sliver of water to be seen when stretching your neck off the balcony. Second, despite being "air conditioned," there was no A/C in either of the two bedrooms -- only in the living room. However, the worst issue was that our room was uphill. My friend has severe mobility issues, so I asked if there would be another room available that's not uphill. They said "no," so I explained to the receptionist (Gulshen) that my friend could not handle the climb and we would need to change hotels. Gulshen called the manager in front of me, who seemed sympathetic and said, "no worries, you won't be charged." I asked again whether any fees would be incurred was ensured that "no charges whatsoever would be encountered," so we moved to to a different hotel. However, last week I received my credit card statement, which included a charge for the full stay! I called them right away, but they would not connect me to the manager. I was told, "sorry, we have to charge you." Liars! Further, the policy listed on ******* said that only one night would be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. How can they justify charging more than that? After several attempts of calling and sending messages, I still have had no success. This hotel is a real scam. Yes, I should have paid more attention to some of the comments about bad experiences there, but I have always enjoyed great service through dozens of stays in Turkey over the years. I will definitely file a complaint with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. And I will pursue this with American Express and *******. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this property.
