Premier Inn Leeds/Bradford Airport ticks many of the right boxes – a good room, a good hotel, and a generally comfortable stay. But then, as if scripted by the Premier Inn playbook, the infamous shower strikes again. The water pressure was, predictably, abysmal. It’s the kind of feeble drizzle that wouldn’t even disturb a cobweb, let alone refresh a weary traveller. Pair this with the fixed shower head that resolutely stays in place, and you’ve got a recipe for frustration. What really grates is the hotel’s bold promotion of "powerful showers" on their website. Powerful? By what standard? It makes me wonder if their inspectors check the bath taps – which often have decent pressure – and just assume the showers will match. Spoiler: they don’t. Not even close. For a hotel in an airport location, where guests are likely arriving travel-worn and in need of a proper rinse, this shower situation is especially unforgivable. Sort the water pressure, Premier Inn – it’s not rocket science! Until then, this remains a good hotel let down by the limpest of showers.
