Comfort Inn Yreka I-5

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The motel is basic, clean with lovely crisp linen. The breakfast selection was great. I would recommend a stay. We arrived in the early evening hungry, tired and looking for a place to eat and we were directed to a family style restaurant across the road. The staff there were also so friendly and it was a great homemade meal. Yreka turns out to be a very hospitable town!

This hotel is a bit hard to find, but the room was neat and clean and the freeway noise was almost non-existent. The morning breakfast was very good, and the price was very attractive especially when compared to other nation chain hotels in the immediate area. We give this Comfort Inn two thumbs-up and we will definitely stay there again when we travel through the area.

My room was clean the bedding was of nice quality and there was a very generous breakfast selection for the price. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I think my only slight negative was that there was no elevator to the upper floors. The receptionist was apologetic about this and gave me a good deal on a room.

Comfortable and close to everything. This hotel is right off the freeway and sits next to a Taco Bell and Mcdonalds. There is a pool, but it's very small. The pool is strangely small and next to the drive through for Taco Bell. We didn't use the pool. Our room. which was also a little small was very comfortable. The bed was extremely cozy and soft. The freeway noise was muffled from a cargo container about 10 feet from the window. There were blackout shades. There was a desk and a reading chair. The bathroom had sundries and a blowdryer. The shower pressure wasn't great. the breakfast which consisted of make it yourself waffles, muffins, and powdered eggs, potatoes, and sausage. All was inedible. There's a Black Bear across the street with a Starbucks. We went to both and were pleased. The hotel and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed two days and had a very relaxing weekend. Even though our room was across the hallway from the lobby, vending machines, and the cleaning room, we heard nothing. We also heard no freeway noise. I would stay here again based on how comfortable it was and within walking distance of everything.

Good: --------- Right off the I-5. Nice and welcoming staff. Rooms are really nice. Mattresses are much better than I expected. Standard Comfort Inn breakfast. No complains there.. Inside AC unit was so quite, i could not believe. Bad: ------- Hotel is nestled behind Mcdonald and Taco Bell. So it was little harder to find it at night. Inside the hotel is nice. But outside is little bit shady. There were few homeless folks near the parking lot. I was concerned about my car. But receptionist told me not to worry..

Clean room and good breakfast. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so be aware if you have heavy luggage. The dining room is small (only 3 tables and a bar area that has 4 stools). Other than those 2 things our overnight stay was pleasant.
