"First of all at check in we were proposed to choose between renovated room of the smaller size (which costs much less than the room type we booked) or originally booked, but not renovated. We have chosen the room type according our booking and got an extremely old room with dirty windows and hardly working air conditioner. However, this one was presented to us as an upgrade to see view (no view though because of dirty windows). The next morning we complained about that and were moved to an amazing renovated real sea view room. Which was great. So, I don’t know how to comment on the 5-star hotel because of this experience. If you are lucky or are ok to fight for your comfort, everything will be fine :) Breakfast is amazing, and you can order additionally number of dishes not presented at the Buffet including avocado and salmon. Pool is great too. Also, the bus stop which will get you to museum island is 5 min walking distance."

"The room was cold, and the air vents smelt of smoke. High humidity, so our swimsuits never dried. The windows didn't open. Cleaning wasn't very thorough. The pillows weren't fresh enough. Otherwise, it was acceptable. We were given a second robe and slippers upon request, and the missing dishes were brought. I know they provide an iron and ironing board upon request. The toiletries and towels were replenished promptly. The hotel sells alcohol, but we didn't specifically inquire. It was something like buy a burger and get 5 bottles of beer for free. Plus, there's a bar and several other eateries in the hotel building. We chose this hotel for its location. We were able to walk to the promenade, the city beach, and the WTC shopping center. The bus stop for the airport is around the corner. We called a taxi through reception, and it arrived within a minute. The ride took half an hour, costing 65 AED on the meter. On the plus side: heated pool from 6am, sauna with jacuzzi. Spa available for an extra charge."

"This W Hotel perfectly embodies the W brand's signature design, completely meeting expectations. I've noted a few points below that might be helpful for travelers visiting from China: 1. The hotel is located directly on the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix racetrack. For any F1 fan, this is absolutely perfect. 2. There are many races scheduled on this track. We even saw a car race on the day we checked in. While it wasn't F1, it was still a feast for any racing enthusiast. 3. The hotel's breakfast was good, though quite crowded. We even got to watch a car race during breakfast, as the dining area is right next to the track. 4. The hotel is very conveniently located close to Abu Dhabi's attractions, with Ferrari World, the Aquarium, Warner Bros. World, and more right nearby."
