"I booked Hotel Voyage online. Although I planned to stay in Almaty for about two days, I initially booked only one night. The reason was simple: I have found that many hotels look much better online than they do in reality, so I wanted to see the actual conditions before extending my stay. I arrived in Almaty from Paris via Istanbul at around 5:00 a.m. When I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that if I wanted to check in early, I would have to pay an additional fee equal to about 50% of the room rate. I could not afford that extra charge. After discussing the situation for a while, I asked if they could contact the hotel manager. Eventually, the receptionist said that I could stay in the room for the time being, but she could not make the final decision until the manager arrived at around 8:30 a.m. I agreed and stayed in the room. At about 8:30 a.m., I went back to the front desk and met a very friendly young woman named Gaukhar, who spoke excellent English. After I explained my situation, she kindly told me that I would not have to pay the early check-in fee and warmly invited me to enjoy breakfast. Her attitude was professional, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. At first, I assumed she was the hotel manager, but I later learned that she was not. It seemed that she had already discussed my situation with the manager before speaking with me. Because of this positive experience, I decided to extend my stay for another night, making my total stay two nights. Overall, I was very satisfied with Hotel Voyage. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hot and cold water both had excellent pressure, and the room was equipped with a safety deposit box and everything I needed. Every member of the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was also clean, fresh, and enjoyable. I can confidently recommend Hotel Voyage to anyone visiting Almaty. I do not think you will regret staying here. If I return to Almaty in the future, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Yongzhong Danzeng from Tibet 🙏"

"Chinese tourists should definitely check it out! The price is great, and it's fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine. It's incredibly clean, and I had a very comfortable two-day stay! It's a newly opened guesthouse, and the owner is a very nice local. You can get a membership card at the nearby Maxima shopping mall for only 1800 tenge, and the supermarket prices there are extremely cheap! Don't be afraid to go just because there are no reviews; I personally experienced how great the room was! Below are pictures of the entrance downstairs. Just go up to the second floor."

The hotel administration immediately notified me when a room became available via WhatsApp. In the end, I stayed for an additional couple of nights. I booked a standard single room with a huge bed. Check-in was fast and hassle-free. The room was excellent – clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I particularly liked the location: the hotel is right in the city center, making it convenient to get to all the main attractions. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I can confidently recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again myself."

"A solid choice. Tucked away from the bustling street, it offers a quiet courtyard, yet it's still close to shops, public transport, and restaurants. Don't let the exterior deter you; it's quite decent inside. It's no Hilton, of course, but everything in the room works well – a quiet AC, proper plumbing. Not many TV channels, only one Russian one (Mir, Russia-24). Breakfast is tasty but not huge (one dish to choose from + tea/coffee). Cleaning is adequate, nothing over the top. Considering the reasonable price, I have no complaints."
