"This was the most troublesome check-in we encountered on our trip. Other motels without a front desk would send an email or message in advance informing guests of the check-in method and password. This one, however, left a local phone number on the door, requiring us to make an international call, hence the negative review. The room was on a side street, the door number wasn't very noticeable, the pillow had a stain, and the bathroom (see picture) was soaking wet after showering 😒. The price-performance ratio was truly not high."

"when we arrived at the accomodation, I did not know what rooms we were in, so I called the number written on the door. Would be helpful to message customer about assigned room perhaps. I am not expecting these things to work perfectly of course. When I needed to use the shower later on day of arrival, it was running only cold water. I phoned the same number again and told the guy who answered about shower. I tried it a bit later and it worked on barely warm for a few minutes, then cold again. Tried the shower again next morning but still cold. Phoned the owner again, left message for them, did not get a reply. The guests I bought with me liked the location and view from the deck, but a bit surprised the owner couldn't address the issue with shower satisfactorily. regards Mr Greenwood"

"Staying at Points South By The Sea surpasses any previous holidaying accommodation we have encountered. The majesty of The Great Ocean Road is exemplified within the sublime atmosphere of our middle cottage. The somewhat cold, stormy weather was a joy to hear and behold within the firelit serenity and warmth of the most accommodating thoughtful surrounds. Every room a treat. Bryan is a most welcoming, accommodating and informative host. A trip to the laundry, about a kilometer up the property's driveway we encountered koalas among the eucalypts and more stunning views on this beautiful property. Whenever fondly remembering our wonderfully coastal trip from Sydney to Adelaide our stay at Bryan and Joan's cottage will remain the wow, an extraordinary experience from driving onto the property to departure."
