"I chose Atour because I really like its decor style. Personally, I think it has a more artistic vibe than the InterContinental and AC next door. Honestly, the lake view rooms here don't offer as good a view as the InterContinental and AC; you're likely to be facing the construction site next door. So, I opted for a mountain view room, hoping the rooftop would make up for it. The mountain view room offers a glimpse of the snowy mountains to the south, but the foreground is the hotel's entrance road and the InterContinental and AC buildings next door. For privacy, I had to keep the curtains drawn most of the time, so from a value-for-money perspective, a standard room type would have been better. The rooftop is perfect for watching the sunset, and if you're lucky, you might even catch the 'golden peaks' effect at sunrise. However, the southern view is blocked by the InterContinental's rooftop, so you can't get a shot of the southern snowy mountains and the lake in the same frame. There's a very friendly little cat at the hotel entrance; it saw me raise my phone and immediately came over to rub against my leg. Overall, if you just want a comfortable stay, you can't go wrong with Atour. But you really can't expect too much from the views. After all, the hotels by the lake are all a bit of a distance from it. For the best views, you really need to go into the scenic area or at least to an open space 1-2 km in front of the hotel."

"Fantastic! The staff were so warm and attentive, and they even offered afternoon tea and late-night snacks. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with local Xinjiang specialties like roasted samsa and baursak. They even upgraded my room, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. My room had a view of Sayram Lake, and you could also watch the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop terrace. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it."

"The room was spacious with a fantastic view of the snow-capped mountains right outside the window. It was so relaxing to just sit on the sofa and take in the scenery. The complimentary afternoon tea from the hotel was also a nice touch. There was some traffic noise since it's by the road, but it wasn't too bad, especially since there were fewer cars at night."

Also, we checked in at 2 PM, and the room wasn't even ready yet. That part was really poorly handled. However, Lake Sayram is absolutely stunning on a sunny day!"

"To be honest, the hotel facilities are very good, but the breakfast is very poor. I don't know who designed the TV wall in the room. It's so ugly. When the sliding doors on both sides are closed, the TV is completely blocked. When you open it, you have to walk sideways from the living room to the bedroom; when you insert the room card, the curtains will automatically close. When you calm down, the toilet suddenly says: Welcome to use the Xiaoai toilet. For these problems, I suggest the boss to bring the management team to experience it in person. It cost so much money to repair it, don't be fooled by the contractor like this. I especially praise Manager Ai and Zhang Ning at the front desk. They are very enthusiastic to guests and try their best to solve these small problems of inadequate facilities."

The hotel's interior decor is also very nice, with complete facilities, including a well-equipped gym that guests can use in the evenings. The front desk staff are all attractive and provide excellent service. The guest rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast offers a rich variety of options, including many kinds of beverages. I even captured a beautiful sunset on the day I checked in. All in all, it lives up to its five-star quality and is definitely worth staying at."

"I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They proactively offered to carry our luggage and even provided a heater, anticipating that we might be cold, asking if we needed anything else. Their service attitude was truly excellent. However, upon entering the room, there was a strong sewage smell. As it was so late and I was exhausted, I didn't ask to change rooms. I traced the odor to the sink drain and managed to somewhat alleviate it by blocking the hole with wet towels and tissue, but the smell remained quite unpleasant. There was also a power outage; the electricity and water suddenly cut out while I was showering. This forced me to stop my wash, and I couldn't dry my wet hair because the hairdryer was unusable. The breakfast was mediocre, but what was worse was that the plates were all wet. I noticed that three entire rows of plates had water on them, causing my naan and other food items to get soggy. While I could get a fresh plate, it certainly wasn't a good first impression."

The other room had two different-sized beds, which was perfect for our family of three. We even got vouchers for afternoon tea, which was a lovely touch. The only downside was the restaurant being right above our room – we could hear chairs scraping every time someone moved them, both when we were trying to sleep and when we were waking up."

My only regret is that the land in front of the hotel is currently under construction for an unknown project. It's bare, and there's construction during the day, though they clear out at night. "This hotel is conveniently located very close to the East Gate of Sayram Lake Scenic Area, situated in a lively small town with plenty of dining options nearby. Parking is available right outside. The room decor is adorable and perfect for families with kids, featuring two levels and two large beds. There are bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs, with a convenient dry/wet separation downstairs. There's also a balcony overlooking an artificial lake. Upstairs, there's a skylight – I didn't get to see the stars, but it definitely brightened up the room in the morning, waking me up! They initially assigned us the wrong room, but it was quickly rectified, and we even received some welcome fruit. Breakfast was just average."
