"Fiquei aqui uma noite em junho de 2025. Não havia AC, então a sala não era muito relaxante. Não podia abrir janelas, porque o ruído da estrada e as pessoas que acho que vieram ao clube estavam perturbando. Não recomendo que fiquem vários dias. Bom lado, a casa de banho e a casa de banho eram Muito limpos e bonitos, gostei disso, e também era fácil de aceder, porque é apenas por UMA estrada principal."

"I booked 6 days at Chogan City Stays as I had a week’s course to attend in Coventry. Unfortunately this course was cancelled, so I no longer need to stay in Coventry, through no fault of my own. I tried to contact the hotel to ask if I could possibly get any kind of refund under the circumstances. There was no response. I also tried contacting the hotel personally by email through the messaging service. Again, I have not even received any acknowledgment or response whatsoever. Not impressed with the customer service and lack of communication at all."

Ibis Coventry South

"Difficult to find... I arrived quite late - 21:30 as I was there for a training meeting lasting 2 days. The bedroom was like a 'Butlins' style chalet, on the ground floor. As I entered the room, I noticed there was a strong smell of cooking fat, that was uncomfortable, and the carpet had some dark brown stains. The paint was coming off the walls in places, there were clearly 'plaster and paint' patches in multiple places, and there was a hole in the ceiling (size of a tennis ball) where the wi-fi device was coming through. At £85 per night including breakfast, although the car park was free - it's not worth it. I went to reception to complain, and was told that there were no other rooms for me. I had driven 100 miles and almost 2 hours. When I asked what their complaint procedure would be - got a piece of scrap paper with a barely legible hand written email address - possibly in the hope that I wouldn't be able to read the address! I chose to drive home again, rather than stay here! Drove the 100 miles again in the morning to my training course and booked another hotel. Needs demolishing - repaint wouldn't be enough."
