"I stayed at Youjian Mountain for three nights with my dog Doujiang, and the experience was fantastic. As someone traveling with a dog, what matters most isn't luxurious facilities, but rather a genuine sense of pet-friendliness. From check-in to check-out, the staff here were incredibly warm and patient, and especially kind to Doujiang, making us feel completely at ease. Our entire stay was very comfortable, and we didn't encounter any unpleasantness or inconveniences. The environment is even better than the photos suggest; the large lawn is perfect for dogs to run, relax, and sunbathe. Watching Doujiang play freely on the grass, I gradually felt myself unwind as well. The restaurant's food was also a pleasant surprise; almost every meal was delicious. On our last day, I even discovered their pour-over coffee. The barista made it perfectly – neither weak nor woody. It's truly rare to find such a bright and clean cup of coffee deep in the mountains. For dog owners, it's not easy to find a place where both you and your dog can relax and be happy. Youjian Mountain is precisely that kind of place. It offers not only a comfortable environment but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even on a rainy day, strolling around the guesthouse is a very pleasant option. Listening to the rain in the courtyard, with a view of the distant mountains, creates a truly wonderful feeling. I'm already looking forward to bringing Doujiang back for another vacation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"For a hotel in a small county, there's little to complain about here. The room was clean & warm and came with a soft bed & a hot shower - both of which were appreciated after some long, cold days out. Seeing the glow of the hotel at night was always a comforting sight when heading home. Check in & cleaning staff were friendly & helpful, even when working over the holiday period. Had no issues checking in as a foreigner. Staff were also more than happy for me to leave my bags on the last day, & let my partner & my friend hang out in the large lobby as we waited for various cabs. Breakfast was not bad. I especially enjoyed the pickles. Location wise, it's within walking distance of the old square & old train station, as well as Khitan Street & the snack street. Ningcheng center (Tianyi) itself is small so everything is really within walking distance, though in winter you might want to take a cab to anywhere a little further away. Ningcheng Railway station is probably not walkable, but only takes around 15 minutes in a car (there's also rental ebikes all over the city, which might be preferable when the weather is warmer). Overall a very pleasant stay."
