"Got a room full of smoking smell but thankfully there was a spare room which the hotel changed for us and also provided an air purifier. Pool and gym are great! But room cleanliness could be better. The floor was dirty, I could tell from my children’s black socks after running in the room for a short while. Other than that the bathroom and view are beautiful, breakfast is good."

"The shangri-la putian is conveniently located opposite a huge shopping mall and beside a garden. The room was nice and cosy and the service was attentive and impeccable, with Melvin (?) accompanying us to the room and constantly asked if we needed help with anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and gave us many suggestions on where we could go during our stay and rarely have we experienced such excellent level of hospitality when staying at similar hotels. The river view we had was amazing. Food at shang garden was tasty, and Lydia's service was excellent, offering us extra snacks and soup. The portions served were huge and reasonably priced.
