"Kunming-Lijiang-Dali-Stone Forest I planned to fly from Kunming, with the last stop at Stone Forest. I booked it casually, and it was quite nice—small and charming. We drove from Dali, and it rained, so it took over five hours to arrive. The navigation was accurate, and we were very close to the main square in Wukeshu Village. We encountered the Torch Festival that evening, and it was quite lively with many people, but then it started to rain heavily, so we just came back for bed. The courtyard is very charming, and you can see the owner's care. There are plants grown in front and back, and the fruit is edible, which the children loved. The owner gave the child a cherry tomato and a pear that grew out of a rock. The child was very satisfied. The room we stayed in had a staircase and had everything you could expect. It's considered a relatively mature B&B. It was clean, but because it was small, there was no way to separate the wet and dry areas. The soundproofing wasn't very good. I was quite cozy at night with the sound of rain, but I could clearly hear people parking and talking in the middle of the night. Being in the village, it was very convenient for eating and shopping. The beef noodles recommended by the shopkeeper are also delicious and cheap, with a high overall cost-effectiveness."

"The service of the girl at the front desk was very good. It was too cold at night, so I asked for an extra quilt. Then a man brought it over and said that there was no quilt but a blanket. He said there was a blanket in the room. I said it was too thin, and he said why didn't we turn on the air conditioner and still need a blanket. They even gave me the cold shoulder. I can understand that we were busy during the Chinese New Year, but it was cold and I had a cold, so there was nothing wrong with adding an extra quilt. With this kind of service attitude, it will be hard to get repeat customers."

"Pros: They do clean everyday and replenish the basic amenities with free water. Location is strategically near the stone forest. Provided a warm welcome and service The room assigned to me is huge and with a closet. Strong connection of Wifi around midnight up to early morning as a digital nomad this is the best. Cons: There is a hole in the bedsheet and pillow case but nothing to worry for me. need to wait for the hot water around 5-6 mins in the shower. This was so hard for me as I like my bath in warm. Location: yes it is walkable around 15 mins to the stone forest but it is hard to reach other location especially when you are fully relying on public transportation or by walking (but it is still good as I found nearby hidden gem place that I was able to enjoy the place alone) Old Facilities-the shower rack has rust. Overall, I had a great,secured and comfortable stay!"
