"The location is convenient, but the hotel is very run-down! There are so many Indian guests! The facilities are ancient, like something out of a bygone era. The sink's hot and cold water taps are separate, so you can't adjust the temperature – it's really annoying to have to cup cold water with your hands, then add hot water to get a lukewarm mix for brushing your teeth! The room is cramped, and it's super noisy outside the window. Breakfast is terrible, and the service attitude is poor! I won't be coming back! It's not worth the price!"

"I accidentally spilled a 400ml bottle of milk. Most of it got on our unopened suitcase, and some of it leaked onto the carpet in the room. I immediately grabbed a towel from the room and laid it on the floor to soak up the liquid. A few days after checking out, I was shocked to discover that the hotel had charged us £250 without any prior email or notification explaining the reason. After contacting Ctrip, I was told that there were urine stains on the carpet in our room, requiring deep cleaning, which is why they deducted £250. I swear it was only milk that spilled! How could we possibly have urinated on the room's carpet? Plus, I had already laid down a towel to absorb the liquid right away. Furthermore, under no circumstances should a hotel directly charge £250 without first explaining the reason or asking for our side of the story. I completely disagree with this charge and will continue to file complaints. "We spent two nights here, and everything about it was brilliant. It's really close to the restaurants and shops, so there's no trek to go out for dinner! Hint, there's a great Greek restaurant around the corner called Opa, which we were surprised and delighted by, as we lived in Greece for a while. The great outdoors is right on your doorstep for hiking, and a car park across the road or on the street. All very handy. The B&B was spotless, and we were greeted by the very helpful and knowledgeable guests, Rob and Tanya. They made sure we knew where everything was and even helped us book our boat trip on the lake. I'm a veggie, and they provided a brilliant veggie breakfast. With Tanya also being a veggie, she understood the products and what options were available. The breakfast was substantial and brilliantly cooked. We had no issues with the room, they were very comfortable, clean and warm as it's quite cold out there recently. This was a perfect getaway in the mountains, followed by a lovely meal and a great night's sleep. Will be back."

I highly recommend it to anyone feeling down from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Access is difficult. It might be good for people who enjoy walking. Be aware that bus services are reduced during the winter months."
