However, many seasonal dishes were unavailable. I'd suggest the chef offers more seasonal options to provide greater variety. The service was prompt and responsive; our requests were generally met quickly. This is my top recommendation for families visiting a local guesthouse, and I personally think it's the best choice for accommodation in Wuxi."

"Unexpected Culinary Delight at a Quiet Retreat! My friend and I visited Wuxi last week and specifically chose the Junlai Lakeside Hotel. I was initially looking for a quiet place away from the crowds, and it turned out to be incredibly worthwhile! The location is excellent, offering a peaceful escape right next to Liyuan Garden. You can enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views without the throngs of people, making for a wonderfully relaxing stroll. But what truly surprised me was the food – it's an absolute foodie paradise! Let's start with breakfast. You can practically try all the Wuxi specialties in one place, like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), wontons, tofu pudding, osmanthus taro, and gluten puffs. Everything was fresh and authentic. I ate it for two days straight and didn't want to stop; it saved me the hassle of queuing up in the city center. For dinner, we had the buffet, which happened to be Xiamen-themed. The seafood was very fresh, and the Xiamen specialties were plentiful and high-quality. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money! I highly recommend the afternoon tea at Yue Bar on the 9th floor – it's an absolute must-visit for photos! Located high up, the views are unparalleled. You get a panoramic vista of Liyuan Garden, and it's fantastic for taking pictures (my WeChat Moments exploded with likes!). The afternoon tea quality is excellent, with delicate pastries. Combined with the stunning scenery, it's perfect for a get-together with friends. My only minor regret is that the hotel has some age to it, so it's not the trendiest, but it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean and tidy, which didn't detract from the overall experience. The convenient location made sightseeing easy, but the best part was definitely the food! The breakfast was super comprehensive, dinner was abundant, and the afternoon tea was both delicious and photogenic. Highly recommend for travelers who love good food and great photos!"

The environment, service, and attention to detail were all impeccable! 🌿 The hotel boasts a Song Dynasty aesthetic blended with Jiangnan garden design – think white walls, dark tiles, small bridges, and flowing water. Every step through the grounds reveals a new beautiful scene; it's tranquil yet luxurious. My favorite part was the Wupeng boat entrance, which added a wonderful sense of ceremony. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is comfortable, the amenities are exquisite, and the privacy is excellent – truly a perfect place to relax. I especially want to praise the service! From check-in to departure, it was attentive and thoughtful throughout: Leon was professional and patient, always responding promptly and working meticulously, which put me completely at ease. Sunny was warm and gentle, always ready to answer questions with a friendly smile, making the service experience very comfortable. Both team members were incredibly kind and reliable, demonstrating the high standard and warmth of Songpin's service. The location is also super convenient, right within Sunac Cultural Tourism City, with easy access to dining, entertainment, and attractions, and the subway isn't far either. I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wuxi. The environment is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the experience is luxurious yet understated. I'll definitely stay at Xuelang Songpin again next time! 👍"

"My stay at Yihua Hotel this time was quite pleasant. I was upgraded to an executive suite, which was a pleasant surprise. I really liked that the room was close to the elevator, making it very convenient for getting around. I generally prefer larger rooms that are also near the elevator. Xiao Wang at the front desk provided excellent service and even offered me a complimentary breakfast. However, my schedule was too tight, so I didn't get a chance to eat it; I'll have to try it next time. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel's location is excellent – right by a subway station, which is super convenient. I will definitely book here again if I come back to Wuxi."

"I successfully booked a king-size bed room, but upon check-in, they said both rooms had broken windows. It was ridiculous – either I had to stay in a room with a broken bathtub like in the TV dramas, or I had to stay in a family room. The family room was located at the very back of the hotel, on a winding mountain road. I dragged my heavy suitcase for ages, and I was furious. When I finally opened my suitcase to wash up, the person knocking on the door said they actually had a king-size bed room, with an attitude like, "I've already helped you carry your suitcase, what more do you want?" The showerhead was stuck in a recess and kept swinging back and forth uncontrollably. This infuriating situation was unbearable. Thumbs down! Why all the fuss?"

Jantamos com nosso filho na rua pedonal e caminhamos até o hotel. Também fica a poucos passos da Segunda Fonte Sob o Céu, na Cidade Antiga de Huishan. Com certeza nos hospedaremos aqui novamente na próxima vez que estivermos em Wuxi."
