Reviews: Gozo Day Pass Ferry and Hop-on Hop-off buses with audio Tour
Guest User2025-01-04
The activity takes place as described, departing at 10:00 a.m. from Sliema harbor on a modern and efficient catamaran and arriving in Gozo at 11:15 a.m., where you board the hop-on hop-off buses. Since the return is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. and there are 45 minutes between buses, you have time to make three of the 12 stops. The bus features an audio guide, which you can listen to through headphones provided by the driver, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the history and landscapes of Malta's sister island. This activity is highly recommended!

Reviews: Malta: Prehistoric Temples and Highlights of the South

The transport arrived on time at our hotel, taking us to a central location where people are distributed into their respective groups and guides. I thought it was very well organized considering the number of participants, but expect a 30-minute wait, perhaps longer in the summer. Our Spanish guide was Silvia; she is excellent. We loved all the explanations and all the places we visited. I wouldn't change anything about the day's organization; it was the best tour I did in Malta. The only flaw was the choice of restaurant, both in terms of food and lack of hygiene. In Portugal, the ASAE (Portuguese Food Safety Authority) would have shut it down already. Lunch consisted of a pasta starter with tomato sauce, inedible in my opinion; a salad would have been better. The main course was half a fish with some chips and vegetables, and a kind of profiterole for dessert. It would have been preferable to pay €10 more per person for a proper Maltese lunch experience; that would have made the experience perfect!

Located 5 minutes walk from Qawra bus station this is a superb rainy day option when visiting Malta. Costs €10 and worth every cent with many classic cars to view.

The excursion was worth it. Our guide, Dona, was excellent, explaining the history and many interesting facts very well. The transportation could be improved; the pick-up was half an hour late. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Maria was a fantastic guide, she really made history come alive and brought the real Malta closer to us. Beautiful scenery throughout the tour with the boat tour a nice added bonus. Thank you, Maria, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
